Skip to comments.IRAN: Next 24 hours critical to stop the execution of Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani

CSW is urgently calling for action on behalf of Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani who faces execution anytime from Thursday onwards after refusing to renounce his faith.
Pastor Nadarkhani is currently on trial in Rasht. He has appeared in court three times this week and each time has refused to renounce his faith when asked to do so by the court.

Those against capital punishment apparently only care about cop killers, not Christians.
Where are the opponents of Capital Punishment now? If anyone is an innocent victim of injustice, this man is.
Why are not churces worldwide shaming the UN to shame Iran? CAIR would do more for their ilk than Christians would.
Finally this story appears here. Was on FOX earlier today.
Done. Thanks for the link.
Coming to a Zero sharya neighborhood near you soon. This is a precedent supported by Zero to start this “worldwide”.
And to think Columbia University invited Anutjob, gave him a forum and promoted his ‘talks’.
These pleas may or may not work. But we should all have faith that God has a plan for Pastor Yousef Nadarkhani. He seems at peace with his fate. A peace that comes from knowing Christ. Let’s not get caught up in demanding his release. Admire this true hero.
Islam is a disease on the world. I have a good sword. Time for the ninth crusade.
>>Lets not get caught up in demanding his release. Admire this true hero.
Demand his release. But, if he is martyred, go out in the world and remind the liberals, especially the liberal “Christians” who believe that Christianity and Islam are equal, that this is the difference between the two.
I know several of these people who believe in a form of univeralism where everyone gets to go to heaven for just believing in something. They make me sick when they sit in my church and proseltyze over the “beauty” of islam. Even when you remind them of John 14:6, they dismiss it and say that “it can’t be ONLY way”. Yes, they call Christ a liar and still profess to be Christian. They’ll ignore this man’s martydom, if it comes to that, and then cry over some alleged claim of “islamophobia” or they’ll even equate his execution to some name-calling event or maybe they’ll remind us of the Crusades. Disgusting.
Is islam so delicate a faith that it cannot stand on its own truth? Is islam so weak that it is easily topppled by the free-will thoughts of a simple amn or woman? Say it ain't so.
He also reminds us that, as you say, Western Christianity has become a soft, feel-good religion. We don't want to believe that the nice man across the street won't go to Heaven. We don't want to believe that our wayward brother or sister who lives a life of sin will burn in Hell. We stop thinking that Christ is the way and become unmoored and start believing everyone will go to Heaven, or that God will give us a car if we pray for it, or that God doesn't judge.
Please send the story to Drudge. I’ve sent it several times from different links already.
I went to the e-mail and it turned my stomach. This beautiful man is suffering and about to die. I’m not going to address some a@@hole as his ‘excellency’ and pretend I’m not a Christian. Do you really think this bloodthirsty Islam monkey cares about what I think?
I will pray quietly for him, thank you.
I wish this info had been out earlier and LOUDER.
Signing online petitions is such tricky business. Send the email through this organization and next thing you know, you’re on their mailing list, their associates’ mailing lists, and so on.
I’d be happy to write a letter or email directly to the Ambassador. Will look it up at their website. Or maybe sign the petition as Bill Maher or Michael Moore.
I will add Pastor Nadarkhani to my prayer list,
NOTE: (in the What Was I thinking category) we don’t have diplomatic relations w/Iran; they have an ‘interest section’ conveniently located in the Embassy of Pakistan. Unsavory characters, all.

This email request will go to the Iranian ambassador to Britain. I figure it’s still effective because it shows to him there are Christians from all over the world greatly concerned about Pastor Nadarkhani.
But, perhaps God in His mercy will work a miracle and preserve this man's life as a witness to His name. Either way, He will wintess Christ Jesus and Him crucified to the entire world. God bless and keep him and his, and if he is to die, God rest His soul.
Prayers said for Pastor Yousef. He is a role model for all Christ followers...faithful even unto death. A semi-rhetorical question: are Christ followers here in America prepared for the same fate?
And what did the jewish pharisees and scribes do to the apostles and those of the first century church?
Email sent, with request to be kept updated, God bless and protect his faithful servant.
There have been several articles about Pastor Yousef over the past few days.
Potential real martyr here, no gunfights expected.
Oh, and Elsie? Please behave.
Where are OUR balls?
Some are: others are saying, "Lord, Lord..."
Christian prayers did not stop the expansion of Islam in the first place.
Get back to me when you are ready to hold our elected officials accountable for acting in the manner that did.
Emails are easier to ignore than phone calls.
It would be far more effective to deluge the Iranian embassy switchboard (see post #18) with irate calls. Perhaps hold demonstrations in front of it.
Playing pretty fast and loose with someone else's life aren't you? If it were your life on the line would you be so quick to dismiss the efforts of others to win your release? I doubt it. The word of God exhorts the strong to defend the weak.

I have done missionary work in ‘restricted/hostile’ areas of the world. I have repeatedly told my husband if I am held hostage or arrested don’t give in to them and don’t bother to try to negotiate my release as I would probably be killed for witnessing strongly to my captors. Pray for me is all I ask.
I’m not afraid to die for what I believe, and I doubt this man is either. Most Christians who convert from Islam know that they will be killed for it, they have counted the cost of following Jesus and have accepted it.
Would I like to see his release? Of course. However, we have a muslim in the WH and this man is not a US citizen so it is unrealistic for Zero to do anything.
Thanks James. No, that is not how I usually express my sentiments, otherwise I probably would not still be a Freeper after eight years.
I am praying for this man with all my heart. I will not suck up to some “excellency” in Iran. That is all.
oh no, no no.
who do we call - I called my congressman and the White House, Signed the Petition - what else?
I used this site, also called my congress.
I also signed this petition to Hillary Clinton:
It’s good that the story is on Drudge. I am praying that more attention will be paid to this and his life will be spared.
Praying for him.....and his family.
I didn’t post the thread, but this does strike all our hearts. We have to wonder if our faith would be so strong faced with what Pastor Nadarkhani has before him? I’m afraid I wouldn’t have Pastor Nadarkhani’s faith and courage. We forget just how blessed we are in this country to freely practice (or not) our faith.
