Like the mechanical parrot we see in toy stores, she repeats what she hears around her, too stupid to know that she is not supposed to tip her hand to the masses. Another poster noted that this slip up by Purdue is a window into how the left talks among themselves. This is chilling stuff.
Beat me to it.
We’ll take her comment with the same casual levity as her ilk does with the shirt’s casual levity.
For me this demonstrates that liberals will always accuse others of doing what the liberals wish they had the guts to do.
Bunch of retards in every sense of the word.
I don’t mind ending democracy (our Founding Fathers hated democracy) as long as we can get back to a Constitutionally-based representative Republic!
The left is all about elitism, stemming from an evolutionary assumptive worldview.
They sincerely believe that those alive today, in positions of power, are superior morally and intellectually to anyone who has ever been alive before, especially those who wrote and ratified the Constitution.
They believe they should be allowed to substitute their “wisdom” over the decisions of the individuals in this country, and do so without restriction or recourse.
A month later, several states have elections for their state legislatures, which is another thing to watch carefully.
She’s awful.
If Rush read the Constitution he'd see that even if she were serious suspending the elections is impossible.
Ok, the idea of suspending (temporarily, I'm sure.... ;-) ) elections is bad enough. But did anyone else catch the underlying theme here. She came right out and said it - they don't want to be held accountable for their decisions! WTF? That is one of the fundamental principles of their being elected representatives...
These people want to be rulers, accountable to no-one. Throw them out now, while we can still do it without bloodshed.
Great view from there.
Perfect.
I have that exact same hat from when they first made them up at TheFiringLine.com, probably about 1999 or so. Definitely before 9/11/2001.
>>> If Rush read the Constitution he’d see that even if she were serious suspending the elections is impossible. >>>
Um, are you serious? How bout this: if you had listened to the show, you would know that he knows that - and was simply making the point that she was not joking and that she, like a lot of liberals, really would like to do this.
Here is an editorial from Investor’s Business Daily-
they have it right

Hey, Bev--using your logic, "lifetime appointments" would get us politicians who could solve anything...not having to look over the shoulder for that next election.
As Democrats morph into socialists you begin to see that, deep down, they cannot tolerate political opponents and would love nothing more than to silence every one of us.
History is replete with examples of socialists gaining power and slaughtering their political opponents.
“This is a trial balloon.... “
DING DING DING! Winner winner, chicken dinner!!
Yet another piece of evidence that the Democrat Party has become the Dictator Party!!!!
You're absolutely right.
Hitler, too, found it impossible to assume dictatorial powers, because Germany's citizens also closely read their Constitution.
Stalin was voted out of power pretty quickly, because Russia closely adhered to the rules of elections they had put in place.
History is replete with dictators who couldn't assume power because there were some words on pieces of paper. In fact, NOT ONE DICTATOR has ever overcome the obstacle of the printed word, in the entire history of the world.
I repeat, 'replete'.
I liked how Rush pit it. the Dems want to cancel elections because it’s the only way they can avoid losing them!
