Mark Kirk: Obama's Libya effort a 'success'

In March, Sen. Mark Kirk (R-Ill.) was urging President Barack Obama to better define the U.S. militarys role in Libya and seek Congresss approval to use force in the north African nation.
But after a day touring the streets of Tripoli and meeting rebel leaders who overthrew the regime of Col. Moammar Qadhafi, Kirk praised Obamas handling of the Libyan conflict as a undeniable success.
This is a victory for the United States military, for our British and French allies, for NATO, for the president of the United States, but most importantly for the Libyan people.
Kirk said in a conference call with reporters from the Libyan capital. Unquestioned kudos goes to the president and his team, but the challenges are not over yet.
Later, he added: This was a success by President Obama and his team. Any military conflict has ups or downs or things you might have done differently
but we have all the makings of a very strong U.S. ally in Libya.
Kirk traveled to Tripoli with three fellow Republican senators John McCain of Arizona, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina and Marco Rubio of Florida to meet with members of the National Transitional Council, comprised largely of the opposition movement that removed Qadhafi from power.

Discouraging to see a republican senator can be as obtuse and credulous as the average liberal fool. So this guy Kirk, he must be a "moderate," right?

I don’t know about moderate. I do know he’s an idiot.

RINO, in other parlance.
He’s from Illinois, so like Scott Brown and the Maine Statist Twins, in deep blue states, there are a lot of “smushy” GOP’ers.

(Somewhere in Hell, Ted Kennedy snickers....)
How can we be victorious, there wasn't even any “hostilities”. Obama said so.

(Forget a third party. We need a second one.)
Kirk will be lucky if one of those 20,000 stolen portable SAM’s doesn't blow him out of the sky leaving Tripoli.

This is NO disappointing, but not surprising out of Kirk.
Do the "rebels" have the shoulder-mounted rockets?

("Blazing Saddles" explains it all......)
He is like some opposite version of Jane Fonda.
“This war is great! I have no idea what this war is about or why, but, Obama did a great job!” and then urged Obama to explain what the hell we are doing over there and why.

Kirk supports killing for oil, great you have now earned your position, flip flop.

VERY strange company for Marco Rubio. Does he have some committee assignment that would require him to go along with this RINO gang of idiots?

Just another waste of our hard earned money. The only things we should have given those people are bullets and bacon.
