Nothings set in stone up north, but Florida officially moved its own primary to January 31st today so the early-state dominoes are about to fall. Heres the first domino, already wobbling. New Hampshires potentially much more of a Christie state than a Palin state, so of the two late entrants, this would hurt him more than her. But of course, if New Hampshire moves up to December, Iowas going to move too to retain its pride of place. And Iowas probably a must-have for her if she gets in.
This year, its a Christmas caucus!
New Hampshire Secretary of State Bill Gardner, who has unilateral control to set the Granite States date, moved up the presidential primary filing period to begin Oct. 17 and ending October 28, signaling the New Hampshire primary contest will be moved up in the calendar.
Unfortunately, well be unable to have the upcoming presidential primary on the second Tuesday in March and will continue to honor the tradition of our first-in-the-nation presidential primary, Gardner told NBC News. Because we cannot rule out of the possibility of conducting the primary before the end of this year, we are, regrettably, as we were four years ago, forced to move the presidential candidates filing period to October.

Not to mention how many Massholes (in this case college kids, only mostly) can drive up with no ID , register and vote in ten minutes! It’s such a scam!
But but but it's an unconventional campaign
Perhaps it is “pathetic” but they are going to do it nonetheless and Florida should have known it.
They do it for the money generated by candidates, news crews, etc. I’m guessing its worth millions to the state economy. Going to look it up right now....
How ‘bout an October Surprise Primary.
If we have to have primaries ( I think they are a very bad idea and should be abandoned), th first primary should be May 6, 2012 and the last August 15.
I’m so tired of the overinflated amount of importance and attention Iowa and New Hampshire get. NH basically single-handily revived McCain’s campaign from the dead in 2008. Please put some conservative states up front, or at the very least any states other than those two.
FL does know it because Mitt has been behind the scenes trying to push the date of FL up knowing full well everybody else is going to push their dates up as well - before with the new committee rules in place everything was heading towards proportioning delegates vote in these states where there would have been no knock out punch by a well-oiled money machine like Mitt but now with states coming early it will knock a lot of the smaller guys out really fast because they can’t compete for money and campaigning in a short amount of time. Mitt is trying to speed up everything do that Mr inevitable finds himself inevitable by almost default

Game on!
Twist and Turn. Run for the hills, but you cannot escape...
New Hampshire and their vote for the scumbag con man Romney are about as relevant as Kazakhstan in terms of picking the GOP nominee
Sorry, find another way to fill up your goddamned “Bed and Breakfast” joints.
When the hell is somebody going to pound a stake through the vampire FLIP MYTH SLICK WILLARD RINO ROMNEYS heart?
This is a son of a bitch who supported baby killing into his late 40’s and supports homosexual “marriage” and forced all Mass residents who work to buy medical insurance or be fined by the Mass department of Revenue.
His grandfather was a polygamist and his clan of cowards all somehow have managed to avoid MILITARY SERVICE,(yet he he running for CIC).
At least the Kenyan muslim Baraka Hussein vacationer in chief doesn’t pretend to be a conservative.
FLIP MYTH SLICK WILLARD RINO ROMNEY needs to be destroyed.
He's a slippery snake. He moves fast. I'm sure he wants this to end fast. It benefits him now that the GOP establishment. They do NOT want to see a Perry or Cain nomination because if Perry or Cain wins that makes the establishment irrelevant and the Tea Party relevant.
Game on!
Twist and Turn. Run for the hills, but you cannot escape...
We should have listened to the Perry supporters. Now the Tea Party could lose a candidate and the GOP establishment will be bragging about how irrelevant the Tea Party is. sigh
See my tagline....
This is getting ridiculous.
Perhaps it’s time to go back to the smoke-filled rooms.
Just sayin’...
If the parties had any brains, they would assign extra delegates to the states which waited. That would help blunt the influence of the attention whores.
Having all the state primaries on the same day, as with the general elections, would really blow their minds.
What’s keeping Florida from moving their’s up again?
