The invisible war against Israel has already begun
The Jerusalem Prayer Team ^ | 10/1/11 | Mike Evans

Posted on 10/01/2011 9:09:17 AM PDT by Evil Slayer

The invisible economic war against Israel has already begun. Some countries are planning to impose new sanctions against Israeli products, while others will raise tariffs and make trade more difficult. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton called this week for the nations of the world to “put pressure” on Israel to force them to make concessions in the name of peace. This is a deliberate attempt to destroy Israel’s economy.

This is new warfare for the modern age—before the rockets fly and the tanks roll, and the boycotts and economic sanctions fall. The OPEC nations are using their vast oil wealth to blackmail and bribe nations to support the Palestinians and attack Israel. The Israeli Defense Forces are dependent on Israel’s economy; if the economy can be destroyed, Israel’s military will be crippled.

The Palestinians have announced that they have the support of eight members of the UN Security Council—only one short of the nine required for the measure to be approved. This news comes as a great disappointment to Israeli leaders who had lobbied heavily to keep Nigeria and Gabon from voting for the creation of a Palestinian state. My sources in Israel had expected those nations to at least abstain if not vote against the measure.

Though the US has promised to veto the measure if it passes, the fear is that such an action would unleash a torrent of terrorist activity against Israel…and possibly the United States as well. Bosnia and Herzgovina along with Columbia are the two remaining undecided members of the Security Council. If either of them chooses to vote for the resolution, a harvest of death and destruction will almost certainly result.

The threat posed to Israel by the demand for a Palestinian state is much worse than what is being reported by the news media. The actual submission for statehood that was presented to the UN last week does not reference the 1967 borders (which would be a disaster for Israel)…instead it references the 1948 borders. This would force Israel to relocate millions of its citizens, give up the airport at Tel Aviv, and of course, surrender complete control of all of Jerusalem.

But even that is not the Palestinians’ true intention. Take a look at the logo below from the official Palestinian mission to the United Nations. Look carefully at the green area in the center of the page—it includes ALL of Israel. The enemies of the Jewish state will never rest until Israel is destroyed. They may make promises of peace in exchange for some land now, but it is only a ploy to give them time to get what they truly want.

It is vitally important that we stand with Israel right now. We must continue to alert Believers around the world to the danger Israel faces, and we must continue to show the Jewish people the love of God.

Your ambassador to Jerusalem,

Dr. Michael Evans

Nice, concise history. I hope you will repost that frequently.

Proposed borders for Jewish National Homeland, circa 1920:

The vast majority of the land was given to Arabs as Transjordan ("Arab Palestine").

IOW, the Obama Fast and Furious Shuffle about how the PA shouldn't be asking the Security Council to accept that terrorist group as a full member of the UN, because it should be settled with negotiations -- is a load of $4!+. The real policy is, the Obama administration isn't interested in negotiations, only the destruction of Israel. The administration's timing here is great -- Israel won't pants the silly bastard (or pantsuit Hillary, thank God) until this UN mess is over with.

Shrillary, Zero and some others who have turned on Israel need to receive the Acts Chapter 12 treatment from Heaven that King Herod received:

Act 12:21 And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.
Act 12:22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.
Act 12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord smote him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the ghost.

excellant post!

How this man can keep his composure and not just B-slap Obozo gets so much admiration from me!

Everytime I watch Bibi after a meeting with our “ Dear Leader “ I am awed by his handling of a most bizzare situation..but then guess Bibi has been in a lot of bizzare situations with a lot of scumbags to deal with.

The world seems to forget that Iraq, Iran, Syria, and Lebanon were created after WWI. They act like these nations have always existed as independent states.

It also seems to me that Saudi Arabia was probably not a state until early this century either.

What determined Israel's borders after the 1948 War of Independence?

From your link: “The Armistice Agreements brought the fighting of the War of Independence to an end, but did not actually end the war between Israel and its Arab neighbors. The Arab states didn't recognize Israel and considered the armistice as only a pause. The Arab regimes considered the existence of Israel in their midst to be unacceptable and they continued to work toward Israel's destruction. They created and sustained a total boycott of Israel in all spheres of political and economic activity. They continued to support armed aggression against Israel, although not again by formal armies until the Six Day War in 1967.

In the Armistice Agreements, the ceasefire lines are defined as follows:
•5(2). In no sense are the ceasefire lines to be interpreted as political or territorial borders and their delineation in no way affects the rights, demands or positions of any of the parties to the ceasefire agreements regarding the final disposition of the Palestine question.
•5(3). The fundamental objective of the ceasefire lines is to serve as a line beyond which the armed forces of each of the parties will deploy.

Thus Israel has no “safe and recognized” borders under these agreements, and the ceasefire lines, as the above agreements signed in Rhodes in 1949 make clear, are unacceptable to the Arab countries. The November 1947 borders specified in the UN partition plan could have been the borders, but those borders were rejected by the Arabs at the time, and were not acceptable to Israel later since they proved indefensible against armies and porous to terrorists. Until the Israel-Egypt Peace Agreement of 1979 there was no change in the formal situation as of the 1949 Armistice.”

Remember that Trans-Jordan changed its name to Jordan and declared that the West Bank was part of the new entity Jordan. It gave Jordanian citizenship to all Arabs in that area, until the Palestinians tried to take over Jordan.

Syria shelled the Jews settlers continually from 1948 until 1967, when Israel ceased the shelling after taking the Golan Heights.

So no peace has ever existed, except that between Israel and Jordan by treaty. Jordan gave up its claim to the West Bank. Remember there is the world of peace in Islam, which is all areas controlled by Islam, and the world of war in Islam, which to them is all other areas of the world not yet controlled by Islam.

I'm sorry to say that once Muslims gain any strength in any area, they go into a state of Jihad (open war), rather than a state of peaceful Jihad (quiet struggle).
