I would be so proud to have a friend such as you to speak of my last days here. You are quite a FRiend to Teresa. God Bless and take comfort that God has her now.
A Blessed Sunday to you and yours!
Thank you for sharing that. She faught the good fight!
R.I.P. dear Teresa.
A Blessed Lord’s Day and Shavua Tov to you and yours, ML. Did you and Linda have a good day with lessons?
I will be late with the Ping.
I don't believe that will be a problem for anyone! :)
You are so right about the accumulation calculations...and if you leave things in dark spaces they breed new stuff.
Best of luck with your move. Be sure you keep your computers in the car with you. Some things are important. d:o)
I cried with you, as I prayed for her.
This song is for you, Teresa:
May God give you, Teresa, The BREATH of Heaven, and a Sweet Peaceful space to abide, at last.
((((HUGS)))) to you, Kathy, and all the friends, co-workers and family that loved her.
How in the world do you survive the valley heat without using your air?
My next record should be 45 minutes of silence, said singer Meg Hutchinson, because thats what were missing most in society.
Silence is indeed hard to find. Cities are notoriously noisy due to the high concentration of traffic and people. There seems to be no escape from loud music, loud machines, and loud voices. But the kind of noise that endangers our spiritual well-being is not the noise we cant escape but the noise we invite into our lives. Some of us use noise as a way of shutting out loneliness: voices of TV and radio personalities give us the illusion of companionship. Some of us use it as a way of shutting out our own thoughts: other voices and opinions keep us from having to think for ourselves. Some of us use noise as a way of shutting out the voice of God: constant chatter, even when were talking about God, keeps us from hearing what God has to say.
But Jesus, even during His busiest times, made a point of seeking out places of solitude where He could carry on a conversation with God (Mark 1:35). Even if we cant find a place that is perfectly quiet, we need to find a place to quiet our souls (Ps. 131:2), a place where God has our full attention.
Read: Mark 1:35-45
Henry Van Dyke
"So it's home again, and home again, America for me!
My heart is turning home again and there I long to be,
In the land of youth and freedom, beyond the ocean bars,
Where the air is full of sunlight and the flag is full of stars.
"Oh, London is a man's town, there's power in the air;
And Paris is a woman's town, with flowers in her hair;
And it's sweet to dream in Venice, and it's great to study Rome;
But when it comes to living there is no place like home.
"I like the German fir-woods in green battalions drilled;
I like the gardens of Versailles with flashing fountains filled;
But, oh, to take your hand, my dear, and ramble for a day
In the friendly western woodland where Nature has her sway!
"I know that Europe's wonderful, yet something seems to lack!
The Past is too much with her, and the people looking back.
But the glory of the Present is to make the Future free--
We love our land for what she is and what she is to be.
"Oh, it's home again, and home again, America for me!
I want a ship that's westward bound to plough the rolling sea,
To the blessed Land of Room Enough, beyond the ocean bars,
Where the air is full of sunlight and the flag is full of stars."

Good evening, AZ...thanks for LeAnn’s Amazing Grace.
Hope you had some down time today....no grocery shopping. LOL!
A Blessed Lord’s Day to you and yours. *HUGS*
Shavua Tov, Deo...hope you’ve had a nice day.
Thanks, JJ...((HUGS))...she has been fighting this for at least the last couple years. Her breathing had become more and more labored. Now she is in heaven and pain free and breathing without effort.
Thank you for the ping and sharing Kathy. Teresa has such good friends.
(((HUGS)))
Swimming Pool. Fans. Lots of complaining (grin) I last used my air conditioner in July 2008 ~ so I think I’m getting good at this!
Wow...no air would sure cut down on the electricity bill! You should be commended for that alone! :)
"And that, knowing the time, that now it is high time to awake out of sleep: for now is our salvation nearer than when we believed. The night is far spent, the day is at hand: let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armour of light. Let us walk honestly, as in the day; not in rioting and drunkenness, not in chambering and wantonness, not in strife and envying. But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make not provision for the flesh, to fulfil the lusts thereof." -from THE BIBLE: Romans 13:11-14
A Blessed Lord’s Day to The Mayor family. And thank you for today’s sustenance for body and soul.
