No mention of Obama-Holder "Fast and Furious" 2nd Amendment weakening ploy of supplying Mexican drug cartels with automatic weapons.

****** Aug 13, 2009: Texas gov. compares Gaza to Mexico”……We went to the border with Gaza and received a briefing from the army there, and we went to Sderot and saw the police station with all the Kassam rockets piled up, we saw playgrounds that had to be covered from rocket fire. It's a powerful place." In that vein, the governor said he was also interested in learning more about security aspects while in the country, as Texas has a large, porous border with Mexico, and the recent violence in that country had unnerved many Texans."....

Makes more sense than posting advisors to Libya

unnerved texans? Is that how he refers to what illegals do when they destroy property, endanger lives, and of course get a reduced price college education.

......”Perry went over an immigration record that extends far beyond the tuition issue.

He said he vetoed a Texas bill that would have given illegal immigrants driver’s licenses, helped pass a bill requiring voter identification at the polls, spent $400 million on security measures to help seal the state’s border with Mexico, and strongly opposed granting amnesty to people who illegally entered the United States.

No one in the GOP field, he said, “has been any stronger on securing our border.”

He also said he may favor sending U.S. troops into Mexico to combat the drug trade.

“It may require our military in Mexico working in concert with them to kill these drug cartels and keep them off of our borders,” he said.”....

My purpose is to counter the propaganda.

Then provide links to credible sources to back up your remarks.

Rick Perry talking like a NeoCon.

Back in early Aug, Perry met with group of NeoCons,

Then, in two of the debates, he was talking like a Realist.

Now, he is back to talking like a NeoCon again.

Meanwhile, a top dog NeoCon, Bill Kristol, is promoting Christie and a top dog Realist, Henry Kissinger, is promoting Christie.

It would be a lot more effective to just close the border anyway. Mexico is corrupt, and no amount of troops will change that.

Why don’t you actually discuss the content of the post instead of making it clear that you think “Mexican” is the same as “illegal” - it’s not.

These drug cartels are destabilizing our next-door neighbor and this is not a good thing for US security. However, Obama has no interest in Mexico. I think he really regards Mexicans with contempt, and thinks that Mexico is just a place where he can play with his political strategies, such as attacking gun ownership with Fast and Furious.

The US military was very helpful to Colombia in finally dealing with the problem of the drug cartels.

Provide links that illegals have killed people in Texas?

Provide links that illegals have stolen from people in Texas?

Provide links that illegals are getting reduced prices on college education in Texas?

Get a life, propaganda is what you are about. Perry is a RINO and would make a terrible President. He won’t use the military to protect American citizens but he will to protect Mexican citizens.

How wrong is that!

Christie is a former federal prosecutor.

If you want someone who keeps your rapt attention with their closing argument style, I guess he’s your guy.

Not mine.

His views on many conservative issues aren’t.

Provide LINKS that add something to the discussion, as opposed to noise used to disrupt the thread.

Time for another Black Jack Pershing and a young Douglas MacArthur to invade Mexico and do the lousy Mexican government’s job for them.

(That is after we get a strong leader who will do this government’s job!)

Mexico has been corrupt for hundreds of years and the corruption is infecting America.

Progressive social engineering and an unprotected border is where the problem lies.
