New York City Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg stated that he’s worried that American young people will begin to riot in our streets because of their unemployment.
While the mayor and I disagree on most things, he might be onto to something here.
I recently opined that I couldn’t figure out why America’s young people were not already rioting because of the stacks of debt being foisted on their backs by a government that would rather borrow and spend than live within its means.
Young people are starting to figure out that our president conned them in the last election, claiming that he could fix everything, make the world safer, create jobs, provide for everybody, redistribute earnings, coddle the unemployed, etc. With many college graduates having to move back in with their parents, young people are beginning to understand that the president’s policies are anathema to job creation in the private sector.
I remember the riots of the 1960s over the Vietnam War and race relations. Young people back then were socially aware, on the surface, of the conditions that were impacting their lives. The differences between the protesters of the 1960s and the void of angry young people today are stark.
Where are the protests by today’s unemployed and underemployed young people? Why aren’t they demanding answers to fundamental questions about their future? Why aren’t they yelling that hope and change was a con job? Why aren’t they demanding answers to the reality that their generation will be the first in the history of America not to have a future at least as good as what their parents enjoyed?
Who knows? Maybe they can’t break away from playing computer and video games long enough to look around at their condition and the condition of America.....

Obozo and his minions are hoping the violence will take a racial tone, thereby giving this administration a perfect excuse to declare martial law and nullify the next election.
For our own safety, of course.
However, when the public finally figures out that the criminals are really in the executive and legislative branches, then WE will finally have the perfect scenario for living up to legacy bestowed upon us by the founders.

WHEN (not IF) the parasites take to the streets, it will be because their flow of handouts stop because there's no money, and they'll seek it DIRECTLY, because they have been indoctrinated to think they have a RIGHT to other people's earnings and property.

An inner city black activists pointed out despite 50 percent unemployment no riots have happened yet because one of their own is in the WH. If Obama leaves and a white POTUS takes his place riots will start. Question though, does this apply to Cain?
Riots of the future is not over left or right. It is about price of food/fuel, gov corruption, crony capitalism, abuse by police, taxes and fees, austerity while bankers get bonuses, illegal immigrants getting benefits, off shoring jobs, lower paid tech guest workers, etc etc etc. There is enough irony and injustice to make Main Street boil with anger at gov and corporations.
Today the left fringe has taken the lead, but if their protests grow and spread, the Main Street middle will join them.
Here is the irony, Wall Street and gov elites feared the Tea Party because they want less gov (thus corporate welfare), what will they do with a leftist lead anarchy movement that is joined by Middle America who wants to kill them????
If freepers have not prep they have very little time left. Guns, bullets, food, water, extra meds for the sick ones and precious metals as well as a stash of paper money if the bank AMT are shut down. If you are affluent, hide it when you travel the streets. In the future, being wealthy can get you killed.
There are currrently 14 million unemployed people in the US.
There are an estimated 20 million illegal aliens in the US.
Simply deport the illegals, and we would be back to full employment.

I think some of what you say is valid, but reality is things have gone down hill so fast since 2008 meltdown. Before that offshoring jobs and hurting good manufacturing jobs and even tech/service jobs. Add to this the burden of illegal immigration on blue collar wages. All this could be buffered by a soaring stock market and real estate prices. That is gone and we have been stuck at 1 percent GDP growth and unemployment/underemployment at 16 to 17 percent for two years or more. People are grumbling and angry. Food stamps and extended umemployment have kept the new underclass quiet and having a black POTUS restrained the inner city blacks. After 2012 all that could change. In revolution, people do not analyze left or right, all they want to know is will your organization, philosophy and institution put food on their table and a paycheck in their pocket or will it do otherwise? If otherwise they will not wait to vote you out of power, they simply shoot you. Duty, honor and pride does not put food in your belly or money in your pocket. Be truthful, I hope I am wrong, but in the last two years I have been prepping, I hope you have been doing the same.

And that is indeed the stage that is already being dressed. In 2012, if a Republican gains the White House and draconian policies need to be put into effect, there will be riots. 0bama is riding out this last year and unless we get control of the economic conversation right now, start reeducating people in economics 101 there will be hell to pay for the Republican party through 2016.
That hell will be foisted upon the backs of every conservative and we may damn well lose the nation because of the economic policies of this administration.
This election cycle is so critical to holding our nation together that listening to these debates has me screaming at the television set. I don't know if we have anyone with the leadership skills to save our country both financially, figuratively, and realistically.

It's not only THIS Administration (although they have certainly been the most FLAGRANT in accerating Progressive Agenda issues). In general, decades of development of dependency Classes, and the infiltration of the Union mafia into public employee groups at ALL levels, has led to the wealth-redistribution/parasitic lifestyles and "gimme" mentallity that now covers almost 50% of the adult population.
Class Warfare will become a Literal term, where the Have-Nots go to take what the feel is THEIRS, as they've been indoctrinated, and will go to the Have's to take it.

Just heard a report on the Wall Street protests on ABC. The commentator reported that while most of the protestors are under age 30, they are all ages, and interviewed a middle-age woman. Contrast this with a report on last night’s news on the Tea Party convention in suburban Chicago. The commentator reporting on that gathering stated that “noticeably lacking from the crowd were minorities and young people.” So the left wing anarchists are people of all ages, while the Tea Party is composed of grey hairs, according to the MSM.
As a member of a Tea Party group in coastal Georgia, I've noticed this too. I've also noticed that Tea Partiers tend toward the ex-military, which the anarchists do not. I attribute it to maturity and wisdom.

The business environment is not condusive to hiring (in sufficient numbers) because of the restrictive regulation and requirements from this adminstration and supported by the Congress...
Reverse course completely on Obamacare, reduce spending, get sufficient tax cuts (breaks) for those who do hire, and we’ll see better days...
I disagree with the MSM’s assessment of the Tea Party. There are alot of younger people active in this area—mostly those married with young children. I do agree that TP members have wisdom and maturity. ;-) I think minorities don’t get involved for fear of being labeled “Uncle Tom’s.”

So he mobilizes his Code Pink shower-buddies to the streets to get them to point fingers at the Tea Party and Wall Street, as a way of taking the hot spotlight off Barky for a few minutes.
It's also a shakeout of his street organization for later, exercising them and drilling them in the face of the enemy, if you will.

Minorities (other than people from India perhaps) don't get involved because race-pimp/poverty-pimp leadership has railed without contradiction against "THEM" for 60 or 70 years now, and they have sequentially identified every group they've opposed or who have differed with them, with the Ku Klux Klan.
They've done the opposite of what they've always said they were about ("healing" racial animosities), and have played up and exacerbated differences and grievances at every opportunity -- just look at any shambolic Al Sharpton or Quanell X "rally", and the race-baiting is always right there, right at the surface.
The Left enjoys a workable interdict, against thoughtful blacks' migration over to the Tea Party, by vilifying the Tea Parties as Klan-affiliated groups and all whites, esp. conservatives, as either country-club racists or real-deal Klan racists.

And both groups are against "crony capitalism" (i.e. fascist economics), but the left seeks a socialist solution (as the young tend to do) while the Tea Party seeks to return the federal government to the cage our Founding Fathers built and protect the rights of the individual.

I see the leftists & the Tea parties as opposites the govt. elites would I think lash out at anyone & everyone that even hinted at be a violent threat to their power. Think that Federal Law Enforcement will refuse blatantly unlawful orders do some reading on Operation Fast & Furious everyone was just following orders .

I agree , sadly the Republican party establishment is more afraid that the Tea Party is out to overturn their apple cart so they are viewed as more of an enemy the the RATs of the traitor party. Sadly when the violence starts the media will act as a propaganda arm of the treason party so in my opinion they are active participants & fair game.
Young people in the sixties had not been dumbed down to the point that they have today. They would have laughed at anyone who made the absurd promises that Obama made.
