I’ve felt for a long time that our government looks the other way on a lot of stuff like this. I don’t know if it’s intelligence related—as this article would lead me to believe—or if a whole lot of people from the bottom to very high up(maybe on both sides of the border) are making a whole lot of money.
I believe due to one or another(or even both)reasons nothing will ever be done about our borders or the drug cartels.
Islamofascists coming in add another layer of stink to all of it. Something could probably be done about that as well, but for whatever reason, everyone looks the other way.
The powers that be are killing us by degrees.
If Mexico is a failed state in a civil war between drug cartels, why would Obama and Holder pick one over the other, ship guns to them, and then act like they had nothing to do with it?
My guess is money- cash flowing into accounts no one will be able to trace. Let's face it, government jobs only pay so much and when you're crooked to begin with (and Chicago crooked at that), picking a winner ought to pay something. In addition, violence that spills over into the U.S. would justify their crackdowns on gun owners- the dream of any true Marxist (Hillary, Schumer, et al).
Yup, big money in drugs and if you're looking for a payoff (for looking the other way, reducing the odds of capture for drug runners, etc.) it probably helps to deal with a monopoly.
Has anyone actually considered that Gunwalker and the F & F were actually designed to force the Mexican Government to build a border fence? Makes about as much sense as theories the Administration and DOJ officials have said so far.
