Let’s watch how this parallels Pelosi sliding out of the hot chair by stating she was not in meetings she was in re: water-boarding.

Somehow Democrats are able to think they are not the “Man” When they damm well are the “Man” goose step over the people.

Nasty little despots that party with the right people.

Can he refuse to appoint someone? What then?

This is the administration that refuses to cooperate in every way like they are above the law.

To fail to appoint a special prosecutor, I think can result in impeachment, for failing to uphold the laws of the land and would result in removal from office.

I’m sure Barry will get right on it. Fat chance. He’ll probably totally ignore the letter.

Next question is, will Holder go willingly under the bus? I bet not. He’s been protecting Dumb0 from the get go. He knows where all the bodies are buried. You only take one for the team if you believe that the team is going to be around to save your butt later. But Holder knows that if he goes down, everybody goes down.

Fun times ahead!

That was my first thought. I don’t know.
But this administration considers laws and custom optional/not applicable to them, so I imagine he’ll just clean his golf shoes with the letter and toss it in the round file.

I think Issa took some lessons (or maybe he didn’t need them) from Andrew Beitbart - dribble stuff out there little by little. Let the bad guys dissemble, lie and cover their butts. Then let out the next little bit. And the next one.

Dumb0 has to appoint an SP or have one appointed for him.

I’m going for impeachment for obstruction of justice.

This is round one. Ball is in Dumb0’s court. But we can count on Dumb0 to

a)be stupid
b)think he’s smarter than everyone else.

This is, by the way, how most criminals get caught.

I am sorry to be so pessimistic, but I remember all to well; and still have a bad taste, from the Klintoon impeachment.

Dumb0 will only be guilty if the Dims say he is . . . fat chance of that.

This letter does bring to mind asking the fox to investigate what happened in the chicken coop. But we shall see how this plays out.

It's not over 'til it's over, as Mr. Lombardi famously said, and I have no doubt that Obama, Holder and all their cronies wish to God this would be over. Despite all their efforts at denial, combined with the cover provided their media lackeys, this whole affair could still very well spell their downfall.

Couldn't happen to a nicer pack of gangsters.

To: Blood of Tyrants

Just a few things I’ve heard through the grapevine:

Issa wanted to make sure he had enough goods on Holder before going to an SP precisely to make sure the SP did his/her job. In other words, he’s got cards he can play if the SP decides to dance.

Major Dems are furious at what Dumb0 threatens to do to the party as a whole (or “hole” if you prefer). They do not like the fact that Dumb0 risks taking the trough away from the Dem party for a long, long time. They also have a vested interest in seeing Dumb0 go down. Expect Dems to line up demanding answers if only to further distance themselves from Dumb0 the Anchor before Novemeber ‘12.

The reporterette from CBS seems determined to follow this through, including accusing WH and DOJ flacks of screaming at her on the phone when she asked “what did Holder know and when did he know it”.

MSMers will spew the party dogma unless there’s a Pulitzer on the line (they ALL went into journalism to be the next Woodward/Bernstein).

And if you’ve lost the Dan Rather/Mary Mapes network, you’re screwed.

I doubt the Democrats would convict Obama of impeachment, and I don't even think the Republicans would attempt an impeachment. I think they would use Obama's refusal as an election tool, and hammer him on dereliction of office responsibilities, or at least I would hope they would.

If her agrees he has big problems.

Well, well, this puts the President in quite a jam. If he refuses the request for a special prosecutor, his chances of re-election fall to near ZERO. He'll be hammered for this failure by his GOP rivals. If he agrees to a special prosecutor, he risks Eric Holder rolling over on him to cover his own ass, thus he faces impeachment and potentially prison.

What to do, what to do? A bus ticket to the jungles of South America would be a good first step. May as well join the Sinaloa Cartel, they might even make him an officer in charge of gun running.

What if Obama ignores it?Or replies saying no or he claims executive privilege?

There is already precedent where he said “No”.

Issa asked for a special prosecutor to investigate the bribery of Sestak. Nothing ever came of it.
