Be aware that B of A is a good work week behind in transactions of ATM.
What’s a good alternative to B of A in California?
ummm, that’s not supposed to happen when things occur electronically. the only bottleneck is how fast you can pull the cash out of the machine.
How do you know this information?
I feel bad , but I can’t bank at a place that’s been put back into the 40’s technologically because of the idiots at anonymous.
I am one of those guys that checks every few hours via Ipad.
2 times in that last 5 days B of A has been forced offline.
How do you know this information?
What does it matter? lol
First Nachum posted a hit piece on BOA in News. Turns out it was bogus.
I’m no fan of BOA, but really. If you’re wanna chat about something, at least post it in chat.
US Bank has branches in California and so far has been excellent.
They have atms in most Safeways and of course at their branches.
We use their electronic bill pay which is free.
There was a technical glitch the other day but that happens to every bank periodically.
Here is a post about BOA at ZeroHedge:
Here is a good link to look at banks in your area.
Credit Unions are at less risk than banks today.
You can also look up Credit Unions at this same site.
We swtiched to a local credit union that only requires us to live or go to church in Orange County, CA.
This has been all over the net since Friday.
See link in post #10.
This is going to be a ripe time for fraudsters hitting BofA. ATM’s that far behind the processing curve is going to allow them a week or more on fraudulent transactions.
My BoA online banking deposits and bill payments are showing up right on time.
This is the seocnd thread claiming BoA online troubles.
ATMs still have to be reconciled, it’s not quite that automatic.
My BOA transactions, alerts, bill paying, deposits, etc. have all been on time. I haven’t noticed any disruption or delay.
Sounds like a bit of website problems and a lot of disinformation.
“No results found” when I enter a correct credit union name on the credit union page.
There have been no delays with my BofA online transactions.
But saw a great commercial today for Ally Bank. They handed strangers a briefcase with $100,000 cash in it and asked them to watch it. At the end, they said something like no stranger took any money for watching our money - we believe banks shouldn’t either.
I’m calling bullshit on this one. Let’s see a source dude
I seem to remember that you need to find the county that the Bank Headquaters is in. Then you will see the names of those credit unions. Try looking around, it was not the easiest site to navigate.
This was at post #10:

Why are you asking?
What do you think of people who force a company offline?
I bank with BofA and have for close to thirty years.
At no time has the bank been even one day behind in it’s normal course of business.
Over the last several months there has been a few glitches in the front end interface, but there has always been work-arounds provided. All my electronic payments have been processed normally whether initiated with the bank bill-pay system or payments made online to business concerns directly.
Please do not start or repeat bogus rumors concerning the bank I do business with.
I check our accounts several times a day and everything seems to be up to date, at least as much as it ever was.
As I stated in another post here, there has been a hitch in the normal online BofA interface over the last month or so, but there has always neen a work-around provided.
This is merely a web page problem and not a banking services problem.
There are no delays in bank processing and the like.
All deposits and normal transactions have been processed flawlessly in a timely manner.
I made a payment to an account early Sunday morning and they credited it on Saturday’s business day. That can’t happen if the bank is delaying business.
I don’t buy it. I login to my account everyday and have had no problems this week.
And every transaction shows up immediately including the $20 I took out of an ATM (theirs) this afternoon.
Is it just the home on-line banking that is clogged up?
Then why doesn’t the spokeman just say so?
From all of the news reports I’ve seen, they decline to comment.
If it were that simple, they would say so. They don’t.
I am not seeing a problem. I checked my account there and it is up to date, even showing an auto-draft transaction this afternoon.
Spokes-holes are notorious for not knowing the simplest of information concerning the institutions they work for. When they admit as much, it’s often true. I don’t know what else to tell you. All I know is that my observation of services has revealed the bank to be operating normally.
It is obvious that you are a John and Ken fan, it seems.
Personal observation is valid, fair enough.
I just have this sick feeling in the gut about this whole mess. Pays to keep those questioning minds sharp these days.
So what? BofA sucks. Worst bank ever. That they are so big only shows how lazy, stupid, or masochistic millions of people really are.
Any credit union.
For those that care about these things, Ally bank is the old GMAC—General Motors. Majority shareholder? Uncle Sam.
When I see some of these threads it makes me thing, What bank do they work for?
I think the DOD should use all resources available to hunt them down.
Then if convicted have them taken to GITMO for re adjustment.
Anything. Your mattress. A jar. A ziploc bag buried underground.
I am puzzled as to why anyone still banks at el Banko of Americo.
Durbin makes me ill. He was just kowtowing to his pet lobbyists to get the this havoc-causing amendment included in Dodd-Frank bill. Then he goes waving a debit card on floor of Senate telling citizens where to do their bank?!?!
Thanks Dick—not like middle class families are suffering or anything...sure we will take another hit to the pocketbook so Durbin can get your campaign coffers filled :(
That reference is talking about their website, not their deposits
Just checked my accounts, the web site is working fine and everything is up to date.
TPTB set this whole collapse up, (remember Rham?) and letting BOA be one of the “fall” banks is part of it.
This nation is being swallowed up in debt, federal debt, state debt, municipal debt, homeowner debt, student loan debt, and you blame the average person who is watching this, wondering, what is going on? This is historically what happens when a credit expansion is allowed to get this big.
And BOA and all the rest of the TBTF’s are insolvent.
And so is Europe.
Day six of web site problems for BOA:
BofA Begins to Feel Heat Over Website Slowness
There is an updated link to a story of the sixth day of BOA online site problems at post #46.
See post #46 for the WSJ link to a story covering the sixth day of this problem with the BOA online site.
I guess it wasn’t just chat, eh?
Bank of America website woes enter 6th day
