Not even close, the reason doctors were handing out excuse notes to the protesting teachers was because they were in Madison. Twenty six square miles surrounded by sanity.
When the 'hippie' movement in the rest of the country went under most of Wisconsin's crop were in Madison. They ran for city offices/mayor and with 60,000 UW students took over city government where they continue to this day. The inmates run the asylum!

The inmates may run the asylum in Wisconsin, but those doctors are also members of the SEIU and had a vested interest in defending the collective bargaining rights of the state workers.
As an aside, my husband used to know the guy who is accused of blowing up the physics and ROTC building on the U.W. campus in Madison. We know that the campus has changed much.

That makes me stop & scratch my head. I'd expect Van Jones et al to understand that a common enemy does not a friend make. The Tea Party types want to pay bills & debts, and do so by cutting socialistic spending to austerity levels & reduce taxes as well - all the polar opposite of the communistic goals of OccupyWallSt & pals wherein defaulting & reneging is desired, and spending ramps up fueled by nigh unto 100% taxation.
If they think we're going to protest with them against DC, they are far more clueless than expected.

I assume you realize this, but for the sake of getting it out there—the Wall Street protesters and the Tea Party are driven by opposite ideologies.
The left is afraid of Palin-style populism, which is nothing other than constitutional conservatism demanding freedom from government and from crony capitalism. They know this movement can stop big government globalism/Marxism in its tracks.
So the left’s strategy is to fool people into thinking the Tea Party and the hippy crowd come from the same thing. But when you hear the hippies talk, you can see a huge difference in factual knowledge between individual members of the two groups. The hippies are mostly clueless.

Things are about to get interesting folks. The college kids are literally the sacrificial goats for the Obama re-election campaign.

The college kids are clueless they get their info from either the MSM or their professors who have an agenda. The fact that they are with one breath damning Wall street & in the next breath demanding that Obama be re-elected is easy to explain .

We know wall street gives more money to the left, obviously they’re too dumb to understand this.
BUT
What if this is a shake down to wall street, lets face it wall street is not too happy right now with this admin and it backfired backing him with money 3 years ago so what if Van Jones paid by Soros has done this as a shake down .
We will get unions etc to protest unless you give us more money and get companies hiring before the election.
The odd ball on the street has no clue what is really going on as they are protesting the lefts biggest donors the idiots but those getting this all sorted out do know and this could be a shake down.

Very good point!!! Thanks for clarifying that. We must realize that this fight this is a fight between good and evil. Some might laugh at that but it is the hard truth.
I think it is time to refuse to visit union run shops and hotels...ask before you spend.
