"I have decided that I will not be seeking the 2012 GOP nomination for President of the United States," she wrote. "As always, my family comes first and obviously Todd and I put great consideration into family life before making this decision. When we serve, we devote ourselves to God, family and country. My decision maintains this order."

I suspected (say 80% sure) that Sarah was not running. It is quite possible, imho, that one of the reasons that she maintained her high profile to further expose the media slander machine for what it is, and that is a good thing.

Sarah - - Here's to you.

You didn't have to win Sarah, although I believe you would have.....but as a candidate you would have been hitting out for us everyday.....you would have had a hand in the fight, I am so afraid you have surrendered all your power.....they are no longer afraid of you taking over, and Bambi and the socialists will treat this as their win and America's loss: they have shown a decent person won't run..... You could have lost and done more good than you will ever be able to do now as a "commentator" as long as that lasts......you have made a dreadfully incorrect decision. You had the world at your doorstep to fight for all of us who couldn't, and by your decision today you have demonstrated that a good and decent person can be "run out of town".......you should have declared and fought......it isn't winning or losing, it's BEING IN THE GAME......all the things you could have done and accomplished have been defeated by your actions today........you have turned you back on millions of people who were silently waiting to stand behind you......

Sarah Palin, you should change your mind and run......BE IN THE GAME

so you have the power to change the rules.......or you will be forever sorry......I walk with the Lord also, and I can tell you, what you could have done for He and all of us, has been greatly diminished by this action......America is crying tonight, you have broken her heart and made yourself and the tea party look like losers...undo this tragic mistake.

Can we all now rally around the conservative, tea party candidate who is already rising in the polls? There is no more time to waste if Romney is to be defeated. Let’s get on the Herman Cain train!

Lots of voters will be staying home now, nothing else much in the field to cause the excitement that Palin could...but, it’s her decision.

I hope Sarah’s FReeper supporters have plenty of crying towels tonight.

She is doing the right thing by staying out.

Now it’s time for her get in gear to run for Lisa Murkowski’s senate seat.

I’m very disappointed. Romney will get the nomination because he makes the Republican party safe for the likes of Peggy Noonan, Georgette Mosbacher, Lindsay Graham and the usual cast of RINOS.

In then end the point guard from a small town couldn’t match up against big time players.

It’s sad for the Palins because the media will hound her more than they’ve ever done before. She’s wounded and they will pounce on her for the kill.

Or McCain’s
Better weather in AZ

Her endorsement will be a prize
Rooting for her to endorse Perry, frankly
If she endorses Mittens she is pfffft!

Sarah Palin:“Herm Cain is the one up there who doesn’t look like he’s part of that permanent political class. He came from a working class family. He’s had to make it on his own all these years. We respect that. He has an automatic connection with the electorate. We can all relate to him. He knows the issues and problems we face every day and he’s determined to do something about it.”

Getting rid of the current occupant of the White House will excite most of the GOP voters.

She has too much class to do it but I wish she didn’t. I would love to see her endorse Cain. If she gives the nod to mitt then all of it was/is a sham and we never really had a chance.

I’m bummed out that Palin is not running, but I can’t and I will not vote for Mittens. Even if I could get by the magic underwear, you are correct, he is a RINO. I took the pledge, I will never vote for another RINO, not now, not ever.
