Elizabeth Warren, Harvard law professor and former Obama administration regulator (for consumer protection), is modern liberalism incarnate. As she seeks the Senate seat Democrats held for 57 years before 2010, when Scott Brown impertinently won it, she clarifies the liberal project and the stakes of contemporary politics.
The project is to dilute the concept of individualism, thereby refuting respect for the individual's zone of sovereignty. The regulatory state, liberalism's instrument, constantly tries to contract that zone for the individual's own good, it says. Warren says:
"There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody. You built a factory out there good for you.
"But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. ... You built a factory and it turned into something terrific or a great idea God bless, keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along."
Warren is (as William F. Buckley described Harvard economist John Kenneth Galbraith) a pyromaniac in a field of straw men: She refutes propositions no one asserts. Everyone knows that all striving occurs in a social context, so all attainments are conditioned by their context. This does not, however, entail a collectivist political agenda.

It takes a village (to the poorhouse)
Leftists belive that we live in a world of limited resources. Consequently, the only way to ensure that the resources are used to maximum benefit, people must lose their individuality so that the most deserving and useful can be given their fair share and those less deserving or useful can ultimately be killed off so they don’t keep using resources.
This is what Obama wanted to transform.
I think that’s a large part of why abortion is promoted so strongly. It gives the clear message that no single human being has any value, and that the only value a person can have is as a cog in the machine that is society.
As if that's not what current taxes do. I'm paying for the schools used by the next generation, that's how it is done here.
Lying POS.
The sad part is that I doubt that the Republican campaign folks will counter this attack in any effective way.
But still, in places like America where the observed result is to shrink the machine, it is particularly nihilistic.

OVER MY DEAD BODY!
Elizabeth Warren belongs to the Hillary school of steel-toed-boot-communism.
She’s so rigid, she makes zombies nervous.
Somebody needs to throw a bucket of water on her.
It’s good that the Kenyan lizard and his minions have dropped their mask and are openly advocating communism. This is their Tet offensive. One last grasp for power.
America recoils in horror.
Dude, don’t post that mug without a warning label.
Terrifying !!
If Warren is truly a Harvard professor, a lot of idiocy is finally explained.
Her beliefs are so ignorant of reality as to puzzle me.
Men built that factory because ONE MAN wanted a factory built in that location.
Men built machinery because that ONE MAN wanted machinery to fill HIS new plant.
Men worked at well paying jobs, utilizing the machines purchased by ONE MAN to fill the plant HE wanted built.
Men made a living running stores, shops, garages and other businesses servicing the men who made THEIR living in the plant built because ONE MAN wanted it built.
Roads and public buildings such as schools, firestations, hospitals and libraries were built, paid for by the taxes taken from the paychecks of the workers in the plant built because HE wanted it built.
If we remove that SINGLE MAN from Warren’s diatribe, you have an empty space, stretching to the horizon. THIS person is what Harvard hires to indoctrinate those foolish enough to attend.
“Collectivists’ Goal Is To Dilute Our Concept Of Individualism”
This is simple. We want the exact opposite of what leftists want:
The individualist goal is stomp the nuts of collectivists into the concrete.
