And, Steve's biological younger sister is writer Mona Simpson. From Wikipedia:
Jobs, the eldest sibling, was placed for adoption by their then-unmarried parents (who married 10 months later). Her 1987 novel, Anywhere But Here, is dedicated to her mother and "my brother Steve." She first met Jobs when they were adults, after she invited him to a party promoting Anywhere But Here where she revealed that they were siblings; Jobs was 27.

Wozniak did the majik with the 6502.

Jobs did nothing less than see into the future.

Jobs did nothing less than see into the future.

Not a bad skill set.

That is, talking Woz into building the Apple I and selling the Volkswagon, and the hanging out in mom's garage.

I'm not here to praise Steven Jobs. I just want to acknowledge what he actually did. And that was good enough.

It gets ugly if you get into details. Like most of our lives.

I suspect that the mouse and graphical interface would still have been popularized, but perhaps a little later.

Xerox at the PARC campus.

Try some history.

You could be correct. MECC was an organize that was used heavily in the school I went to. So I may have an inflated view of it's influence.

You think? Know 8" SSSD floppies? Can you key in a bootstrap code in octal?

Some of us believe in the influence from Bletchly park and the decoding machines were seminal.

And then came vaccum tubes.

they only stayed married for five years and she married another man who raised her daughter.....and his bio birth provider did not go looking for him...his bio-sister contacted him when he was 27..

He also stated that ‘the only real parents he knew where is adopted parents who raised him’ and he felt that his environment he was raised in influenced his life..

interesting background..
I am an adopted mother..and I'm forever grateful that my son was not aborted but given to us forty years ago..he remains one of my greatest gifts ever, and he calls me mother...

the information did not state that the bio-birth sperm was born in Syria, just that he was Syrian he very well could have been born in this country.

besides that who the hell cares? all he did was donate sperm.

This is like asking what if Jesus Christ had been aborted?

A good political propaganda theme, bumpersticker, slogan, for sure, but little else!

One other aspect of Jobs’ career that people forget, was he was a crucial part of Pixar, which gave us “Toy Story”, “Finding Nemo”, “The Incredibles”, etc.

He was the founder. He bought the computer animation department of ILM to start it.

I'm not sure, since I was way, way to young to be briefed on the program, but that code name may still be, technically, Most Secret.

Or TS/SCI over here.

So I won't comment. Except that I did.
