Six weeks into his new job as an MSNBC host, Al Sharpton has made it crystal clear he despises members of the GOP. Al, Al, Al, you are skipping a couple of steps. At all 12 step programs, including yours, it is ALWAYS begun by identifying yourself, so I’m told.
For example you might say “Hello, my name is Reverand Al Sharpton, and I am a mediaholic.” The audience would then reply “Hello, Al.”
By breaking form, the audience knows that you are really a LONG way from following the 12 steps. The audience is patient with your first error, but the second error suggests a pattern of behavior that may require an intervention.
We would suggest that you seek help. Others have overcome mediaholic addiction, and the opportunity is there for you too.
