ESPN severs relation with Hank Williams Jr.
CNN ^

(CNN) -- ESPN says it has severed its relationship with singer Hank Williams Jr.

"We have decided to part ways with Hank Williams Jr. We appreciate his contributions over the past years," the network said in a statement released Thursday. The success of 'Monday Night Football' has always been about the games and that will continue."

Williams, the 62-year-old son of the legendary country singer Hank Williams and a widely popular entertainer himself, compared President Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler, a remark that prompted controversy and resulted in "Monday Night Football" pulling his popular musical introduction from this week's game.

Nazi Party

The National Socialist German Workers' Party (German: Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, abbreviated NSDAP), commonly known in English as the Nazi Party (from the German Nazi, abbreviated from the pronunciation of Nationalsozialist[5]), was a political party in Germany between 1919 and 1945. It was known as the German Workers' Party (DAP) prior to a change of name in 1920.

National Health Care: Medicine in Germany 1918-1945 [Nazi health care]
Does the Modern Bureaucratization of Medicine Risk a Return to the Horrors of National Socialist Medicine?

by Marc S. Micozzi M.D.

Today we are concerned about issues such as doctor-assisted suicide, abortion, the use of fetal tissue, genetic screening, birth control and sterilization, health-care rationing and the ethics of medical research on animals and humans. These subjects are major challenges in both ethics and economics at the end of the twentieth century. But at the beginning of the twentieth century the desire to create a more scientific medical practice and research had already raised the issues of euthanasia, eugenics, and medical experimentation on human subjects. In addition, the increasing involvement of the German government in medical care and funding medical research established the government-medical complex that the National Socialists later used to execute their extermination policies. ..."

I seriously doubt 50% would have been irritated, but the liberals understand that ‘he with the loudest mouth is the one that wins.’

so....what we have learned from watching ESPN over the years is.....

If you work for them, AND you compare Donovan McNabb to Adolf Hitler, they are likely to put you up against the wall and shoot you.

They should get a gay guy in a dress to do a show tune for the intro - you know, something with values that won’t offend anyone.

"Kill all the rich people. Break up their cars and apartments. Bring the revolution home, kill your parents, that's where it's really at"

Undercover agent Larry Grathwohl discusses the Weather Underground's post-revolution governing plans for the United States:

Larry Grathwohl:

"I asked, 'well what is going to happen to those people we can't reeducate, that are diehard capitalists?' and the reply was that they'd have to be eliminated. And when I pursued this further, they estimated they would have to eliminate 25 million people in these reeducation centers. And when I say 'eliminate,' I mean 'kill.' Twenty-five million people. I want you to imagine sitting in a room with 25 people, most of which have graduate degrees, from Columbia and other well-known educational centers, and hear them figuring out the logistics for the elimination of 25 million people. And they were dead serious."

"It was at the Chicago home of [Bill] Ayers and [Bernardine] Dohrn that Obama, then an up-and-coming 'community organizer,' had his political coming out party in 1995. Not content with this rite of passage in Lefty World — where unrepentant terrorists are regarded as progressive luminaries, still working 'only to educate' — both Obamas tended to the relationship with the Ayers."

“I’ll bet Williams feels like an idiot for apologizing now.”

Knew this was coming the minute he apologized.

Why did the liberals all jump to the conclusion that he was comparing Obama to Hitler, and not Boehner to Hitler? He never said so. So, are they secretly admitting that Obama is more like Hitler than Boehner is?

Is it because they know that Obama is antisemitic? Or a would-be tyrant? But Hank Williams never said that. He never said which was like Hitler and which was like Netanyahu. All he said was that they were politically far apart.

Adolph Barrack Hussein Obama and his Ministry of Truth have stuck out at FOX News and Steve Marlsburg for the crimes of Lese Majestie.

This is the latest victim and YES, a lot of Obama’s tactics bear an unsettling resemblance to those of the Nazi dictator.

Perhaps ZULU will be the next victim of the Ministry of Truth.

You (ESPN) stepped on the Toes of The First Amendment Freedom of Speech

Uhhhhh no....the First Amendment only applies to government censorship....you can say whatever you want, but that doesn't mean you get to keep your job if you say it.

it’s wrong to compare the President to Hitler, even if it is Obama.

What will be the first clue that might make you change your mind?

Will it be when he marches large numbers of supposed low-lifes off to gas chambers?

Will it be when the Capitol Building is destroyed?

Will it be when the 2012 election is "postponed"?

Will it be when he nationalizes large segments of the economy? (Oh, wait, ...)

Will it be when we have a large civilian army in brown (or purple) shirts that brutalize political enemies? (Oh, wait, ...)

Will it be when he demonizes significant minorities of the population in public speeches? (Oh, wait, ...)

Will it be when the press and the government march in goosestep? (Oh, wait, ...)

What? When?

ESPN — is a typical LIBERAL NETWORK that is 80% owned by the GAY FRIENDLY Disney corporation. I hate to say it, but I knew when ESPN was first founded and it didn’t have an agenda. Now it does...

“But you did a good job of promoting that lie.”

You are the type that gives FR a bad name. Unable to see anything objectively, or see what’s right. And, to top it off you go to personal attacks. That would make you the “conservative” equivalent of those folks over at DU, congratulations.

You’re right, it could have been that Boehner was the one he compared to Hitler. Or it wasn’t meant to be literal. However, if you mention the president in the same breath as Hitler, you’re asking for trouble.

And I’m not interested in playing the “they did it too” game. Yes, the left said horrible things about GWB. It was wrong for them, it’s wrong for us. Wrong is wrong, you’re playing relativism? Another favorite of the left.

What Hank should have done, was to substitute Hitler with “The Ayatollah Khomeini”, that would have worked much better.
