(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Republican Senator Scott Brown made a crack about Democrat Elizabeth Warren’s physical appearance on a radio show Thursday morning.

According to the Boston Globe, the senator was responding to a crack Warren made during Tuesday's debate.

When Warren was asked about Brown using his centerfold spread in Cosmopolitan magazine decades ago to pay for college, she said she “didn’t take her clothes off” to pay for school.

When the WZLX disc jockey asked Brown for a response, he said "Thank God," which elicited laughter from the DJs.

And, of course, it’s also okay for them to mention that Chris Christie is fat - over and over and over and over and... ...well, you get the picture.

Not to mention all the over the top diatribe about Palin....and the jokes about her young child...

The filth that pretends to be part of this great country's political process can go straight to hell.

she “didn’t take her clothes off” to pay for school.

If she had, she would not have been able to pay for a JC.

>>In an email after the radio appearance this morning, Brown’s campaign did not directly respond to a question about why the senator made a joke about Warren’s appearance. Campaign manager Jim Barnett said: “It’s elitist of Professor Warren to look down at the decisions Scott Brown made to put himself through college and rise above the circumstances of his life. Scott has fought and scraped for everything he’s got.”

>>Warren’s spokesman had no immediate reaction, but Democrats pounced on Brown’s remarks.
“Sen. Brown’s comments are the kind of thing you would expect to hear in a frat house, not a race for U.S. Senate,” Clare Kelly, executive director of the Massachusetts Democratic Party said in a statement. “Scott Brown’s comments send a terrible message that even accomplished women who are held in the highest esteem can be laughingly dismissed based on their looks.”

When Warren was asked about Brown using his centerfold spread in Cosmopolitan magazine decades ago to pay for college, she said she “didn’t take her clothes off” to pay for school.

No, but she would have accepted a government handout and been proud of it. I am sure it is safe to say that Elizabeth Warren would be all for taxpayers having to pay for college for anyone who wants it without the obligation of a loan. Approve or disapprove of Scott Brown doing those pictures, he still paid his own tuition...his friends and neighbors did not.

What she said wasn't all that nice either. I hope Scott takes a page out of Herman Cain's book and tells those who mock offense at this to lighten up.

She said she “Didn’t take her clothes off to pay for school”.

This COULD be interpreted to mean that someone PAID her to NOT take her clothes off, and that she used the money to pay for school.

The correct Brown response is:

“Sounds like even accomplished women need to play the victim card in order to have a debate. Her defense goes straight to her lack of character. Rather than apologize for her own remarks, she chooses to play victim when the target of her derogatory comments dares respond.”

“Victimhood is not leadership.”

The Occupy Wall St people have “free college education for all” in their manifesto. Really. So all the professors and other workers at a state college (or private?) would work for free so that an education could be provided gratis? Or would there be taxes up the wazoo. The protestors don’t realize that taxes pay for all the “free” stuff (”If you think health care is expensive now, just wait till it’s free”—P.J. O’Rourke)

Agreed.

And the politics is what matters most.

What’s the ugliest part of your body?
What’s the ugliest part of your body?
Some say your nose, some say your toes

I think it’s your mind, Liz.

I’ve done a lot of boxing and still train kids to box and one thing I have always told the new kid coming through the door is that you might have a good punch but do not give a punch in the ring if you do not want one back.

You give it you need to take it something which the left doe snot seem to understand.

So far he has not. I agree. What I meant was there will be some who will call for him to apologize for it. I think maybe Howie Carr will get him on his show and Brown will say something like “c’mon Howie, was just kidding around here...”

Current Boston Herald poll. I voted for #2.

Herald Pulse
Was the ‘thank God’ comment by Sen. Brown on Elizabeth Warren offensive?

19% - Yes, it was over the line

62% - No, she started it

0% - Hey, that’s my favorite issue of Cosmo

19% - Don’t care. The issues matter
