Well played!
That depends. Which election cycle are we talking about?
“I made the bold prediction that he was going nowhere.”
I’ll second that...
Where they don't speak Spanish.
what’s wrong with romney? one word: romneycare. that permanently disqualified him in my book. it isn’t what you do in the limelight that defines you, it’s what you do when nobody’s watching.
Same tire different tread.
Brazilians speak Portuguese, guy.
—...he needs to shed his excessive caution and boldly embrace a platform of profound reform...—
Absolutely!
What’s one more flip-flop? ;-p
I see the Romney campaign FedEx'd a new pair of kneepads to Mona. Her old ones had to be wearing out from overuse.
Romney was a crappy candidate in 2008 and nothing has changed. He still flip-flops. Still shows no core principles other than his own pursuit of power. Maybe a Beltway hack like Mona thinks that's not a big deal. But for those of us in the hinterlands who thinks words should have meaning, well, it tells us all we need to know about Romney. And Mona.
I think the only republicans that don’t really like the choices we have are the ones that want the RINO status quo.
We have everything we are looking for in Cain, with Perry a distant second followed by Romney, AKA Dole III.
I’m extremely comfortable with Cain, partly because I trust him to employ good advisors and make good decisions.
He talks out of both sides of his mouth.
He is a RINO. He is to the left of BUSH.
I would have to holf my breath when pulling the lever for him. No different than McCain.
I could go on and on.....
I’ll take Romney over Ron Paul and Obama.
Fox is heading down the toilet hole. That Juan Williams lies as much as Obama.
I only listen to talk radio now. I will not subject myself to the agenda of TV pundits.
A lot of poeple won’t vote if Romney is the GOP candidate.
He's slick, out of touch, doesn't seem to have any principles that he's willing to go to the mat over, and has no real specific solutions to the problems this country is facing that he's willing to outline. Plus there's that thing with his dog. How's that for a start?
This author may think that the public isn’t remembering Romneycare anymore-—but she is wrong.
Many of the Republicans where I live are still livid about his signing that bill.
I, for one, think Romney is too slick by half. He isn’t really addressing hard questions. When asked about the Wall Street protestors, he said “ I don’t know about that. I am trying to get into the White House”. A lame answer if I ever heard one.
I will NEVER vote for Romney. IMO, he will be the Ross Perot of the 2012 election if the GOP Old Guard push him onto us.
I am also tired of the Republican ‘establishment’ of the elite East Coast choosing a candidate I am supposed to hold my nose & vote for. My nose is still hurting from John McCain.
I will not be supporting Romney at the caucus but I'd rather have him than Ron Paul.
No way he will get a landslide. That multimillionaire rich Republican who has never had to worry about getting a job or paying his car payment should not be the face of he Republicans.
No way Obama is going to roll over and die. The day this guy becomes the nominee the dems will begin to show everyone all the evils of Mitt Romney. Conservatives will be so demoralized by election day they may not even show up.
McCain is actually right of Romney although we dislike both intensely.
If you take Romney, you’ll get Obama, imo.
Romney can’t beat Obama’s Chicago political machine.
Romney can’t even argue with Obama about Obamacare, because Romney loves the idea.
