Fast and Furious weapons found in Mexico cartel enforcer's home

High-powered assault weapons illegally purchased under the ATF's Fast and Furious program in Phoenix ended up in a home belonging to the purported top Sinaloa cartel enforcer in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, whose organization was terrorizing that city with the worst violence in the Mexican drug wars.

In all, 100 assault weapons acquired under Fast and Furious were transported 350 miles from Phoenix to El Paso, making that West Texas city a central hub for gun traffickers. Forty of the weapons made it across the border and into the arsenal of Jose Antonio Torres Marrufo, a feared cartel leader in Ciudad Juarez, according to federal court records and trace documents from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.

Absolutely right.

The us federal government is the enemy of freedom.

I can’t see any use for it whatsoever, I want to abolish it, and I do not want to rebuild it.

I do not need a bunch of idiot people charging me a ****load of money to tell me how they think its best I do things, and on top of that they are all commies.

I know, America is absolutely stuck on stupid.

And the children are most definitely not our future. We have lost at least a couple of generations to brainwashing from the DoE.

Obama and his gang get away with murder, literally.

Because he has put all his men in the right places—and we let him.

The gun has Holder's, Obama's and Hillary's prints all over it.

They belong in jail.

Better still - one weapon over the past 18 years wound up in the hands of a conservative ‘lone wolf’ — well, not really but it’s still a Holder wet dream...

I have read this article 3 times. What am I missing? The guns were confiscated in April 2011, AFTER F & F was exposed, but we are just learning now that these were F & F guns?

The article never says WHEN or HOW it was learned that these guns were F & F guns.

Either I am missing something, or this article is missing some info that should be known but isn’t being reported.

The war on drugs is either to fight the cartels, or to insure that the drugs flow is controlled by those who control the war. Remember that the Kennedys made their millions running booze in the prohibition.

So, just which side of the issue are the gus going? That tells you who is on what side.

The war on drugs is not about drugs, its about money and population control. The War on Drugs keeps the profits up and insures a steady supply. Without a steady supply you don't have a dependent class of addicts funneling cash to your pockets. An unstable source of drugs causes your addicts to become free. Can't have that now, can we.

Drugs trafficking also serves the Progressive goal of population control. Only instead of the not cost effective methods of gas chambers and furnaces of the Nazis, drugs are used to trim off the nonproductive while bleeding them dry financially. Works great, why kill someone with a bullet when you can get them to pay for the bullets?

Legalized drugs makes the government responsible to "heal" the terminally stupid. Not cost effective. Much better to have the dying hide themselves and die in the dark corners of society. That way they can spend the inheritances blown on drugs with clean hands, if not clean hearts.

And Mexico may have to do what our current government cannot...declare this debacle and act of war against its’ sovereignty. How could we not respond to that?

Honestly, I'm not sure why El Presidente Calderón has not already come out strong condemning this action. I wonder if he was fed a completely different line also... I really would love to know exactly what was said to the Mexican Gov't, and what "we" are saying to them now.

This whole scandal is so AUDACIOUS of a plan that I'm continually struck by the scope and devastating consequences of these actions so deeply that it almost seems surreal!

I knew Obama was REALLY bad, but trafficking guns to the cartels DIRECTLY? Who in the heck is Obama in bed with that he had to make that a reality? What about the Mexican/Latino gangs in Chicago? Is there a tie-in there, too?

Man, it's such a HUGE scandal. I'm feeling impatient waiting for them to use handcuffs on people involved in this.

Remember that the purpose of this program, since January 2009, was to demonize American firearm dealers, to support the contention of some that illegal gun purchases in the U.S. are a major source of weaponry used in the drug wars in Mexico, thereby justifying imposition of drastic restrictions on the sale and possession of firearms by U. S. citizens in the U.S.A.

El Presidente has said he wants people to go to jail. But he doesn’t say who.

But he may back off that after this:

Big-league Mexican drug traffickers imprisoned in the United States are contending that unnecessarily harsh conditions — locked up alone in ultra-high-security confinement — take a physical and psychological toll and may violate U.S.-Mexico extradition treaties.

The courthouse pleadings for relief come from men who cut their teeth and made their names in a criminal underworld that has carried out unheard of levels of brutality in Mexico, including murder by beheading, mutilation, hanging and massacre.

But at least one U.S. federal judge on Thursday conceded the claims have some merit. He ordered that Jesus Vicente Zambada Niebla, whose father runs the Sinaloa Cartel, a criminal syndicate in which Zambada was a ranking member, should be let out of his cell for outdoor recreation time on a roof top.

Definitely an interesting connection there. Thanks for the information. I’m sure this has veins running throughout ALL of our agencies’ dealings with various elements of the cartel & terrorist underworld, and prison system as well. We may just be lucky that the cartels are in such power in Mexico and that the Federales are too busy to take any action against us. Still, if I were Calderon (or ANY Mexican citizen) I’d be mightily PO’d right now.

I had wondered whether Obama and Holder were trying to provoke some kind of action on Mexico’s part that would get the illegals here all up in arms. Just another aspect of Obama’s desire to see the US burn, but also highlights how democrats use these people for their own political and personal agendas.

It reminds me of some invasive vine. It does no good to cut branches. It has to be ripped out by the roots. And the root of this invasion is in D.C. Time to do some gardening.

What is sad is that the agents that were ordered to take part in this illegal activity did nothing to stop it. all ONE of them had to do was send a memo over the transome in D.C.
Very disappointing. You would think now that the you know what has hit the fan, they would be lining up to tell investigators what went on.

Was the ATF cleaned up during the Bush years, only to become become corrupt again in 2009?

Instead, America should demand that the ATF and other unconstitutional agencies be abolished.

Bears repeating.

But these a-holes in our government are making sure that the corruption in Mexico will ALWAYS drive illegals to the US, to do the Cloward-Piven thing and enable a communist takeover here.

I'm assuming everyone by now knows the whole Cloward-Piven thing. The man/woman on the street? I don't know, I hope so. Keep spreading the word. . . Good article from Discover the Networks Here. The Part I, II, III Jim Simpson articles on the left too. Excellent resources to thoroughly understand the Cloward-Piven strategy to bankrupt our system and usher in socialism/communism. Pass them on. . .

I remember first reading these articles right before that 08' election and thinking, "Well, that's it for Obama." I guess a lot of people didn't know about it. Everyone should know by November 6, 2012.

BTW, just getting up to speed on Gunwalker and Fast and Furious. Am I wrong in assuming the whole under the radar plan was to target gun dealers and eventually total gun control/confiscation? Or is that too simple?

Where are the presidential candidates?? Here’s their chance to show they have leadership skills. ALL of them should already be out in unison screaming about this! Too busy campaigning telling the sheep how good they are and all they PLAN on doing but NO actions to prove it.
