I'm on the KS side of MO (Kansas City, MO, that is) and we've had lots of voter fraud across both sides of the State Line but on the MO side ruled by democRATS, ignore most all of it, claiming that it's so "small as to be almost non-existent."Of course, the charge is one of a misdemeanor as well which might get you a slap on the wrist in KS but nothing at all in MO, not even a charge.
Here in the last election, running the GOP election office, had a lady call to tell me that she had received notice that she had requested a "mail in ballot" in the mail. Problem: she had not filed to get one and planned on voting in person!
What was worse: the signature on the request was hers! How did that happen, you might ask. Her supposition was that a young minority showed up at her door telling her about some "service project" he was to do for his "social studies" class. After asking her the questions from his "service project" required, he asked her if she would "sign" his sheet that he was to take to his "teacher."
This lady said that, after the fact and combined with some local stories about ACORN's sham voter abuse tactics, she thought that he could have been a plant getting people's information and signatures for fraudulent purposes!
This is actually one such report that came in in the '08 election but there are numerous glaring instances and thankfully Kris Kobach (the Constitution Lawyer who wrote or co-wrote the AZ illegal alien law) was elected Sec. of State for KS and he's keenly aware of those problems and how even one fraudulent vote devalues all legal votes.
In a 7/4 parade, Kobach was walking with his family, and his kid was carrying a sign that said “My daddy will stop voter fraud”.
