Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) says he is leaning towards calling for the White House to appoint a special counsel to investigate Attorney General Eric Holder in the Fast and Furious gun-running operation, but wants to hold a meeting of the entire Arizona delegation first.
McCain told Fox News Greta van Susteren that if he were to call for a special counsel, he would do it along with a unified Arizona congressional delegation.
We are leaning towards it, but I want to talk with the whole delegation and act as a unified delegation. We all represent the state of Arizona where a lot of this happened,
...Earlier this week, Rep. Lamar Smith (R-Texas), chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, called on the White House to appoint a special counsel to investigate whether Holder lied to Congress.

And to think he was the best we could offer up last presidential election!
Thanks for that decisive action loser McLame.
Because your campaign was as lackluster as this, you are not President right now.
Sounds to me like Juan McLame had prior knowledge of the events that transpired with regards to the Treasonous Gun Smuggling Operation.
Wish he’d ride off into the sunset and take his portly, mentally-challenged daughter with him.
..Today ten Arizona Sheriffs demanded an independent investigation of Fast and Furious, a government operation that allowed more than 2,000 guns to cross the border into the hands of criminals in Mexico. In a news conference at the Arizona Peace Officers Memorial in Phoenix, the sheriffs called the ATF operation "unconscionable".
WOW! Some Leader you are, McLame!
“Mr. Maverick” now wants to play “Mr. Consensus”. I wonder if he checked with his sweetheart... Lindsey?
McCain is not one to skin out his own skunks.
when is he heading for his housecoat and slippers and just sit on porch and keep mouth shut
So any RAT in the Arizona delegation can veto the call for an SP, Juan?
“Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) says he is leaning towards calling for the White House to appoint a special counsel to investigate Attorney General Eric Holder in the Fast and Furious gun-running operation”
Big whoop!! Not too much doubt about the calibre of the thug White House appointee.
He is meghan without the tits.
McCain was all over the news advocating for Obama to go into Libyan war without congressional approval, pushing urgency to protect civilians.
Earlier he called the ATF operation interesting.
I’m sure Raul Grijalva will approve, McCain.
Don’t be too hard on the Senator. After all, didn’t he make a lightning quick decision to suspend his campaign and thereby further diminish any chance he had to challenge the “one”.
No, he is meghan without the brains.
Makes one wonder, just what kind of deal did the mugabe gang make with mccain.
F&F mostly happened in Arizona.
Arizona was sued by mugabe for trying to enforce federal law.
Lots of things going on in Arizona.
He is the senator from..... Arizona. But you wouldn’t know it from his actions.
Guess he sees himself as another one of those citizens of the world there.
No need to tell FReepers that ‘THE LEANER’ is not ‘A LEADER’.
He is leaning so much due to his cranium being stuck up his rectum.
I agree, McLame smells blood in the air and is worried it is coming from his own hands.
Not from AZ -- from quick search, sounds like Grijalva is up for reelection.
Arizonas GOP District One Congressman Paul Gosar has taken a lead role in exposing the scandal.
Were still waiting to hear from CD 7 Democrat Raul Grijalva in whose district the murder of Agent Terry occurred. link
Did he and his gang ever said anything about Reid invoking the nuclear option?
Also from AZ,
U.S. Attorney for Arizona Dennis Burke has submitted his letter of resignation effective immediately. His resignation comes amid fallout of his knowledge of the ill-conceived and reckless operation that left Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry dead in a gun battle near Rio Rico, Arizona. Terrys murder effectively ended the scheme.
Burke an attentive student of and longtime aide to Janet Napolitano, previously served as her Chief of Staff and was appointed to the Arizona U.S. Attorney post by Napolitanos boss, Barack Obama.
Time for John to check out of the Waffle House...
I know that if alive today his father would not be proud of Johnny boy. What a bitter disappointment he turned out to be. From hero to hump!
McStain’s cheese has slipped off the plate. Time for him to go sit on the porch.
