Going back to the middle ages for a moment, there was a reason why Rome lasted as long as it did. There are no more Lombards, Carthaginians, or Picts. The reason for this is because Rome decided its best to never brook a threat that can’t otherwise be eliminated.
Nuke Pakistan. Nobody’s going to miss it, and it earn us the gratitude of India for as long as they can remember it (about an hour I think).
Nobody respects a country’s military unless there’s a chance that power’s going to be brought to bear.
Enough of Islam already. The pendulum has swung far enough away from civilization this cycle. Time to push it back the other way and earn another 400 year respite from Islamic imperialism for a change.
Doesn’t mean they won’t be back. They always come back right around the time the West settles down to peaceably enjoy the fruit of its labors for a spell.

I have no problems with what you have written.
But — in return — would you agree to the proposition that all Muslims should be “removed” from non-Muslim nations, and returned and confined to Islamic nations?
And when I say “all”, I _MEAN_ all of them. That includes Islamics who may be American citizens and who (if offered the option) refuse to make a “public conversion” to Christianity in order to remain U.S. citizens on American soil.

I certainly would. As the article to which we’re replying illustrates, Islam by its very nature is totally anathema to every value The West embraces. There is no part of Islam — nothing — that enhances or nourishes The West.
And that includes its adherents.
There is not one alive who could be trusted to favor the precepts of The West over those of Islam, if the chips be down.
They should be removed from Western society.

Welllll...not so fast. The whole "punishment" angle needs further examination.
The glass parking lot scenario would get all the Christians to Heaven post haste, so "punishment" is likely not the best term to describe their experience of it.
That said, as a long-time Christian, my gut sides with muawiyah on this one; go to the glass parking lot strategy.
