I can easily imagine a great comeback line like this:

Mitt: Herman Cain and I both have a record of great and successful business experience. But I also have a record of experience in elective office.

Herman: Yes, Mitt. But your resume would look as good as mine if you didn't have that record of experience in elective office.

Looks like the love fest has been halted

Never was a love fest. The love fest is between the two GOP Party bots Perry and Romney

Who got in the race last? Who got into the race after a whole lot of pushing by the GOP Establishment?

Perry is only in this to split the social conservatives away from the Tea Party and hand the nomination to Romney.

Both Romney and Perry are the same old GOP politics as usual Establishment politicians. All this suppose verbal combat at the debates between them is just Kabuki theater for the masses.

What does Romney need? Someone to build a bridge to the social conservatives in GOP Establishment like Palin did for McCain in 2008. Who is the darling cult of personality Bush jr idol of the social conservatives?

Rick Perry.

What does Perry need but a chance to perform on the National stage and be “President in waiting” so he can be President in fact 8 years from now.

It is a political Establishment marriage of the GOPbots dreams. It the equivalent of putting Bush and McCain on the same ticket. Mass campaign money plus candidates who are on the “correct” side of every one of the crony capitalist party Establishment positions.

Cain has nothing to offer any of the Establishment Candidates. He build no bridges, brings no money and totally over shadows any of them except Newt on the intellectual field.

Cain would not be anyone choice for VP. Perry will be.

Cain needs to learn how to keep his cards closer to his chest. This puts Romney on alert.

I’m sorta discouraged about these creep left-wing idiots going after our guys but I guess I’ll watch so I can respond to FR tomorrow.

Dumb question: can you tell me what time and what channel it’s on?!

But of course it will all be a charade, you see. He’ll PRETEND to go after Romney, but he’ll do it according to a Romney-provided script and in a way that is ineffective, and Romney will come out looking calm and undamaged. And then Romney will look very mature and presidential when he doesn’t bear a grudge and proves it by offering Cain the VP slot.

Did I get it right, DRey?

"Cain had better be careful or he'll provoke the other candidates who are all running to be Mitt's VP."

Mitt, Perry, Newt and to a lesser degree Huntsman and Santorum will do their level best to turn this ship around. I look for all of them to have their knives out for Cain.

NO WAY can they allow a political outsider a NON-career politician to come away with the nomination. If they do it would spell death for all their insider buddies and Party elites. Put the people back in control of their own government? Can’t have that now can we? No we are smarter than they are we know what's best for them.

Just saw Romney and Christie, Romney playing the victim card, criticizing Perry for thanking Rev. Jeffress for his introduction. I’m not hearing Myth criticizing Cain though. It’s clear who Myth is worried about.

Sure. So far, Cain has only hit Perry, however. No one else. The objective of conservatives is to knock off the statist pig and frontrunner, Romney. Not a good conservative like Perry. Btw, how about finishing our debate from that other thread. LINK I asked you to explain yourself. How about it?
