Tell me who HAS successfully worked around government bureaucracies. Reagan didn’t, neither Bush did either. Carter, Clinton and Obama certainly haven’t. Why is it impossible for a non-politician to do it? Cain has incredible leadership ability. If he can get elected, he would be a fine executive in the public sector just as he was in the private sector.

Bush had Cheney to deal with the Beltway types, and Sarah Palin upset the bureaucracy in Alaska, but would have failed in DC... Her executive skills are actually pretty rare

but, she aint runnin and Herman Cain is no Sarah

I’ve seen it in business and in goobmint, talkin’ tough is often mistaken for leadership ability- that’s how we got Urkel in the WH now

You're kidding, right? You couln't possibly NOT know that Reagan was one of the most successful governors of California that CA ever had.
