Is Sarah Palin Really Out of the Race?

Dear Tea Party Supporter,

The liberals are still chortling because they think they have gotten rid of Sarah Palin by her decision not to run for President in 2012. But I have news for them when it comes to Sarah Palin: “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet.”
.
Governor Palin has said from the very beginning that she is going to use her voice to advance the conservative cause in America, and I know she means it. When she was picked to be the Republican nominee for Vice-President, there was not a more exciting day in the entire election cycle for conservatives.
.
She electrified us from that first speech, her acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention and in her travels crisscrossing America advancing the cause of freedom.  We were honored and proud to have Governor Palin appear at many of our Tea Party Express rallies across the country. She was a knockout whether we were in Searchlight, Nevada, Boston, Massachusetts, or Manchester, New Hampshire.
.
.

.
I had the great honor of starting my professional life working for Ronald Reagan beginning with his first campaign to win the Republican nomination for Governor in 1966. Those were bleak days for conservatives, and Reagan with his eternal optimism gave so many of us hope that there was a brighter future.
.
But the liberal elites couldn’t stand the thought of Ronald Reagan succeeding. He was viciously attacked as a know-nothing actor who possessed extreme right-wing views that would bring destitution to the poor and nuclear holocaust to the world if he were ever elected President.
.
They sure got that one wrong. I think Ronald Reagan was the greatest President of the 20th Century!
.
While the constant attacks on him took their toll, they didn’t slow him down one bit. He knew that his plans for a stronger, more prosperous America were right. And he had the determination to win over the American people and then make the changes our country needed. He also said that every generation will have to fight the collectivist mind-set that will want to destroy the America he called that “shining city on a hill.”
.
We have the fight going on again now. President Barack Obama has been a disaster – maybe even worse than the President Jimmy Carter that Reagan defeated in 1980.  We are not going to have Sarah Palin as our nominee to defeat Obama, but I know we will have her on the front lines to make sure we restore in Washington the principles that have made America great.
.
.

.
I have to admit that her decision left me with some sadness. But then I realized that this wasn’t the end, but it was the beginning of a new chapter of Governor Palin standing up for America. She will be out there supporting good, solid conservative candidates for public office. When the book is written on the 2012 election, I bet there will be a big chapter on how effective Governor Palin was in helping to win elections across this great country.
.
The Tea Party movement has been successful because almost everyone in the movement has been willing to swallow their ego and work hard to elect the best people to public office. This is going to be a tough fight, but if we all work together we can do it. I know Governor Palin will be right there with us.

"maybe even worse than the President Jimmy Carter"

Kinda disheartening when you understand the optimists don't understand. Obama is much worse than Carter was. Compare an ant walking across your path and the collision of galaxy clusters.

No, a Palin 2012 candidacy/presidency was our last (and now lost) chance.

Thanks for trivializing the end of The United States of America.

Quiter.

Don’t worry, there are still enough of us around that still believe in the United States of America and will continue to work on keeping it free and safe.

There's a Sunday night program called Magnificent Disasters (or something like that) that both my wife and I agree is the same thing.

Liza also agrees with the 'Defeated' statement ... the sound track is too loud.

Thanx .. I appreciate your comment.

I think the implosion has already begun. Remember it took 3 debates of everyone pilling on him to destroy Perry, and Cain has only been through 1 with everyone pilling on him so far, and I already started to see through the veneer.

Nobody has piled on Perry. In fact, he had Romney wander right across his sights where Perry should have blasted him at point-blank range for flip-flopping, and all Perry could manage to do was to put his foot in his mouth and then blast his foot into smithereens.

Perry is every bit as stupid in reality as they falsely accused Bush of being.

Cheers!

nobody piled on Perry?

ROFL

for three straight debates everyone including the moderators attacked Perry. They didn’t stop till his poll numbers plumetted, and they could attack the next conservative on the rise (cain) attack complete with a special video of him presenting his 999 plan to some audience.

She’s handed over her weapons and broken her sword.

You're spot on. Her sun has set.

Perrywinkle, go back and refund your check to the Perry campaign.

Your agitprop is not convincing anyone here; and Perry is liable to get annoyed at wasting his money.

Cheers!

grey_whiskers is spot on.

RINO Perry declared himself weak and a RINO
at the debates. He also was not clear
or prepared.

Sending his wife out to whine today about “religion” is
nothing more than Perry hiding behind her skirt.

Never underestimate the left-wing’s ability to self-destruct.

NYC will be clearing-out the OWS protesters tomorrow. Should be a good show and prove what I just said above.

Posted an hour ago on the internets:

Putting Sarah Palin to Work in the Republican Primaries

As a spokesperson and advocate for the values and issues that are important to Tea Partiers, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is a force of nature – no one else comes close to her ability to turn-out and fire-up a crowd. Palin disappointed many Tea Party and grassroots conservative activists when she announced she would not run for President in 2012 – but with that announcement came a commitment to be involved in a “decisive” way in the coming election.

One of the ways that Palin is already making a difference is by keeping the issue of crony capitalism front and center in her speeches. This is a much-needed contribution, because keeping the political debate focused on changing Washington’s insider culture is vital to achieving real reform of the federal government’s out-of-control budget and tax system.

However, in my opinion, the best way for Governor Palin to advance the Tea Party and conservative cause is to recruit and support Tea Party and grassroots conservative candidates running in Republican primary elections for Congress, the U.S. Senate and state legislatures.

Imagine the effect of a well-organized, Palin-backed, district-by-district effort to recruit conservatives to run in primary elections where there is an establishment Republican, an open seat, or a complacent Democrat.

Those Republican primary elections are where Palin’s involvement really could be decisive.

Even better, the model is already there in what she and Senator Jim DeMint did in 2010 to help Tea Partiers surge past establishment candidates in a number of important Republican primary elections.

Palin’s endorsement in the 2012 Republican presidential primary will be much-sought-after, but she could make a more lasting contribution to the conservative cause by leading the effort to recruit and nominate constitutional conservative candidates in key Republican primary elections.

First off, Sarah Palin is still a force to be reckoned with unless you are writing off the tea party movement, too.

Secondly, no way will Palin ever run for the senate. That would be a total waste of her leadership talents.

I purchased the Undefeated/Going Rogue pack at Walmart for $15 and it worked great. I’m wondering if you got a copy that someone bootlegged.

Nothing Sarah Palin does or says will have any bearing on the next election.

I'll predict that Sarah Palin will have more effect on races involving tea party endorsed candidates than the GOP presidential nominee will.

Take the time to watch her speech "Defending the Republic" from Oct. 7th and read about her speech in South Korea. (waiting for the video to be posted) She still offers more substance not running than do those who are running.

Your post # 14 is absolutely right. And Palin is too politically savvy and "alleycat smart" not to have known that.

She bowed out the very next day after Christie made his Not Running Announcement official.

Something happened behind the scenes... What, I don't know.

I’d take it back and get it replaced. You may have gotten a bad one. Before you do, tho, try it in a different player.
