NEW YORK (AP) — Wall Street protesters scrubbed, mopped and picked up garbage at the corporate-owned park they have been occupying in an attempt to stave off a scheduled cleanup Friday that demonstrators suspect is a pretext to evict them.

While moving out mattresses and camping supplies, organizers were mixed on how they would respond when police arrive at the request of Zuccotti Park owners to help remove the occupiers from the public plaza so it can be cleaned.

It only took weeks and the threat of force to make them behave (at least fractionally) responsible.

It’s kinda funny. They act like petulant teenagers whose parents just made them clean their room or lose their XBox.

Wall Street protesters scrubbed, mopped and picked up garbage at the corporate-owned park.

That corporation recently received a $168.9 million energy loan from the government. BTW, The parent of this corporation, Brookfield Asset Management is a Brazilian based entity and the actual company that received the loan is Canadian, Brookfield Renewable Energy.

Wanna bet this has Soros fingerprints all over it?

The KOS kiddies are referring to it as a "public" park. Of course, those folks don't believe in private property...except their private property. That's different!

Actually, there’s a great four-star script for a movie here. A bunch of folks running off to New York City to protest....but they don’t have the slightest idea about the theme. Communists, socialists, democrats, environmentalists, pro-Cuba, pro-immigration reform, pro-Sandinista, anti-war, anti-designated hitter, pro-Dallas Cowboys, anti-Bush, anti-Cheney, anti-whaling, etc, etc.

Then you toss in various people who meeting up with new boyfriends, new girlfriends, new dope dealers, new union supporters, and new communists.

Toss in some serious bacteria which will screw up your system and require heavy doses of prescription drugs.

Toss in New York City crime, New York City Hollywood pretenders coming up to shake hands, MSNBC media guys doing interviews every eight minutes, and the fresh smell of dog or human waste each morning.

I think you have a great movie. The title....Invite to a Flea Party.

You’ll need to deploy water cannons to scrub away the filth...nothing less will do.

” The title....Invite to a Flea Party. “

Since the (carefully unspoken) intent is to prop up a dead Presidency, shouldn’t the title be —

“Weekend and Bammy’s”??

It's painfully obvious to any "journalist" who wants to dig a little further than simply reading leftist press releases. I wonder, has Glenn Beck said anything along these lines.

It is. Sort of.

As I understand it, the space is privately owned but was dedicated to public use in a past real estate transaction.

Surely you jest?! Shall I start with all of the "hate Beck" lines before noting the incredible amount of research his staff is involved with?
