BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - The Coast Guard in Boston confirmed that a woman in uniform was harassed and spat upon by Occupy Boston protesters.
The woman was walking to the train and said protesters spit on her twice, called her foul names and even threw a water bottle at her.
Now, the Coast Guard is warning all staff working on Atlantic Avenue to avoid those protesters while in uniform.

I know exactly where the coast guard is in Boston and that area along with the north end used to be a great place until the elitist yuppies moved in and started to complain about roads being closed for the feast’s etc.
30 years ago these smelly layabouts would never have been anywhere near that area due to the mafia but now all is changed.
The Coast Guard advises their uniformed members to RUN AWAY.

Members of our military are not allowed to defend themselves against this type of attack. They will face NJP for fighting back. This is where we come in. 8.1mm people live in NYC. There are less than 800 protestors living in Zuccotti Park and only a small percentage of them are even New Yorkers in the first place.
A good number of them aren't even Americans, but Canadians.
I recently spent a few days in Kansas City and saw the Occupy KC protest on the lawn in front of the WWI memorial complex. Half a million people live in KC. There were less than 25 protestors there on a pleasant Saturday afternoon.
Apparently the Occupy Boston protest isn't even at 1,000 people - and this in a city that has the largest infestation of self-righteous college students in America.

From personal experience, these a-holes won't give you the time of day if you needed it but when they or their families are in danger they can't call you fast enough. After the danger is gone they conveniently forget to thank you and act like nothing happened.

I wish they could. Their training prevents them from reacting unless their is actual viable threat to their safety. As a boxer has trained fists, a marine is a trained killer. As such, their very posture to attack a citizen in a street fight is different then if it were you or I. Likewise, a raucus group spitting and throwing things at us could invoke an actual fear for our lives and we would be amply justified in defending ourselves depending on the circumstances. A marine must answer to a court marshal. The standard expectation for the perceived threat a marine can expect is a little higher. That does not say they are not allowed to defend themselves if attacked. But they are not allowed to climb over a fences to beat the snot out of a couple dozen pot smoking hippies because they spit at them. You or I might get away with shooting them in self defense (though I don't recommend it). To bad really. These type of stories infuriate me.
