SAN DIEGO (AP) -- San Diego police on Friday used pepper spray to break up a human chain formed by anti-Wall Street demonstrators at a downtown plaza where they've camped for a week.
Police in the early morning began removing about a half-dozen tents after warning demonstrators their personal belongings couldn't stay in the Occupy San Diego camp. Demonstrators can continue protesting without the tents, tarps and tables, authorities said.
One man was arrested before 8 a.m. for interfering with a police officer after he sat down and refused to take away his tent, police Lt. Andra Brown said. After he and his tent were removed, other demonstrators erected another tent and formed a human chain around it.
Shortly before noon, officers pulled apart the protesters and used pepper spray to disperse them.
No one was arrested or injured during that action, assistant Chief Boyd Long said. But protesters said several demonstrators were suffering burning eyes from the pepper spray.

At some point in this idiocy someone is going to get killed and all this acting-out by these drug-addled, spoiled brats isn’t going to be funny anymore.
Forget pepper spray or tasers. How about throwing them some job applications? That’ll make them disperse faster than French soldiers with an order to charge.
Even if they weren’t, I’m going to pretend that they were. The thought of that just makes me :)

They should have sprayed the filthy, little piggies with Febreze and then watch ‘em run.

No, I live in Houston, (when I'm stateside) but one of my sisters lives on the Upper East Side. I try to get up to NYC about once a year. I love hanging out there, seeing my sis and plus I'm a total theater geek and have to get my fix. :-)
We were downtown Monday doing touristy stuff and encountered the hippies as we were walking up Broadway right at Wall St. I saw that Ron Paul sign and said "I KNEW it!" and raised my camera with glee. LOL
Then we went to Zuccotti Park and taunted the unwashed for a bit.
This is getting too complicated. I’ll just stick selling overpriced widgets for an unappreciative boss who pays a very, very generous commission.
