End of the week: Fox’s O’Reilly thinks Holder will have to resign(gunwalker)
Seattle Gun Rights Examiner ^ | 14 October, 2011 | Dave Workman

Posted on 10/15/2011 5:41:44 AM PDT by marktwain

It has been a tough week for Attorney General Eric Holder, despite an attempted defense by Democrat spinmeister Lanny Davis, and it was wrapping up Friday morning with Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly predicting Holder will have to resign, and Sen. Charles Grassley saying he will ask for the resignation of whomever “signed off’ on Operation Fast and Furious.

“I think he’s going to have to resign.”—Bill O’Reilly

For an administration that came into office in 2009 promising to be the most transparent in history, the Obama administration is suddenly drowning in scandals. Not only is there Fast and Furious, but there is also Solyndra — a controversy that has nothing to do with firearms or gun rights, but everything to do with how this administration has evidently been conducting its affairs.

This column will focus on Fast and Furious, because this could be the career killer, not only for Holder, but for several career bureaucrats at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives. Advertisement

O’Reilly’s remarks came during a segment of the morning show “Fox and Friends.” He appeared just days after an exchange on his own program with former prosecutors Lis Wiehl and Kimberly Guilfoyle, both of whom also thought Holder is essentially toast. This column discussed that.

For his part, Davis— writing in The Hill — is attempting to spin the Fast and Furious probe as nothing more than crass partisanship, and he wants it to end. Of course he does, as do all Democrat Obama loyalists, because they recognize this as an anchor that could drag down their president in 2012.

Holder's resignation should not be the end of the investigation, but the beginning. People need to go to jail, and not those who blew the whistle.

I think that’s all part of Issa’s plan. He knows he has Holder caught, and he’s still working on nailing the boy king from Kenya.

I sense a bit of wishful thinking here. There is no way these guys ever resign. Their office is the source of their power. And they would happily provoke a constitutional crisis and/or revolution rather than leave office. And even that would be after YEARS of stringing out the legal process.

Holder is the bar no the front door. If Issa can make him fall, the others will turn to CYA mode knowing they’re next. Once they begin eating their own, then the investigation will be producing results.

Allowing Holder to merely resign is a slap to the faces of the American people generally, and particularly the families of those killed by the firearms at the center of this politically sanctioned criminal enterprise.

Holder and all his minions with a hand in this debacle must be held accountable. And the accountability should extend to White House, if the trail leads there, as well.

Yes, steel trap, indeed. (Genn Beck Onassis well; and warning as to who is behind protestors and the future plans of this group - including that what he said was- and could be- confirmed. Following that, Geraldo waxed hot for the protestors and dismissed Glenn as delusional. Appeared, by eventual comments by BOR; that he shared Geraldo's more 'extreme' position per Glenn.) It was as if Glenn never showed up.

'Fox Friends' discussing same with Mike Huckabee. Be interesting to see what eventually unfolds. Obama is not just 'friends' with Holder; they are as "thick as thieves". A special relationship, indeed.

To be honest, I watch BOR as much as I watch/listen to Ubama. Not at all.

They are both a waste of time and energy.

Resign?

That’s not enough.

I want him prosecuted, found guilty, disbarred, fined into penury, sent to the hard-time federal pen, turned into a house mouse for a gang of skinheads and fed nothing but mayonaise sandwiches on Wonder Bread.

The Boy King from Kenya is more aptly described as the Wannabe Dictator who decides who lives and who dies with the aid and support of Pelosi, Reid, and the rest of the human waste in the US Congress and in this Regime.

TED: (on the air) In order for the bill to be passed, it has to be ratified by two-thirds of the forty-eight states.... (looks off camera, sees a crewman holding up two fingers) Oh, two more, huh? Correction, that's four-thirds!

Holder will resign to protect the One. That is if it looks like anything can be tied to The One before then. The MSM, academia, blacks, hispanics, Unions, progressives crime organizations ALL have a vested interest in protecting The One. The first mutterings from these sectors has already started. They will reach a point where Holder has to fall on The One's sword, or jump under the bus, in the Obama Camelot...

Appreciate your sentiments: but calling Obama and O'Reilly per same 'value' of brown; is as 'bad' as imagining that the 'O' in Obama (and irrespective of his family tree) makes him as much an Irishman as O' Reilly!

(Think much of O'Reilly hype is an honest Blarney; whereas that color/substance you mention, IS Obama's core value.)

That said, am not discounting O'Reilly's often noxious or boorish behavior. Do think, as well; he is not as well served by his staff as he imagines. Am not an O'Reilly regular; but appreciate his viewer draw and target topics - and the fact, that Libs land on 'Fox' to watch him.)
