As General Patton said “I don’t like paying for the same ground twice”. Thus lets pull out, but if the occasion occurs again that we need to return, we should install a parking lot first.
Frankly with the rules of engagement our troops have to work with this may be the right thing. Plus we will need them back here to remove the Socialist and Anti Americans for the offices they will be voted out of. Oh yea then tried for treason.
And here’s the danger of electing someone simply because on the surface, they seem good at debates, deliver “soaring” oratory, and look good in a suit. America fell for one of those this time—don’t let Republicans elect another one in the primaries! I’m seeing several really good Republican candidates rejected, even on FR, because they don’t possess these shallow qualities that got Obama elected. If we pick Romney for our candidate, we just have Obama with an “R” instead of a “D.”

airing on TV stations across the country next year while those same TV stations will not cover the story on the horror that breaks loose when we are gone.

Sorry, I don’t see this as a valid comparison to Vietnam. We lost there. In Iraq we have won. We got rid of Saddam, crushed Al Qaeda In Iraq, rebuilt the miltarty, and put a democratic government, however disfunctional, in place. We still have forces in Kuwait. Can’t we ever win one and go home?
Of course Bush did the heavy lifting, and Obama will take credit, but that’s the breaks.
Good! We’ve wasted enough blood and treasure trying to nation build in that hell hole.
