Mandeville, LA – It’s a YouTube sensation and more, this week on Tom Gresham's Gun Talk (R) Radio, the original nationally-syndicated radio talk show about guns and the shooting sports.

His YouTube moniker is Nutnfancy, his subscribers wear gear emblazoned with ‘TNP’, (The Nutnfancy Project), and he became an Internet star by accident in 2008 with a knife review. Nutnfancy, as he likes to go by, has reviewed hundreds of products in the last few years, and has thousands of fans. Check out his videos at http://www.youtube.com/user/nutnfancy.

Dave Blankenship drops by with news on the Remington Arms Versa Max tour, travelling the U.S. through November. This Sunday, the Versa Max tour truck will be at Montgomery Co. Shooting Complex in Southside, TN, from 9am to 3pm, supplying the shot shells as people test out the new shotgun. More details on both the Versa Max tour and the new Remington shotgun are available at www.remington.com/pages/community/versa-max-ontour.aspx.

Also on this Sunday, journalist David Codrea - one of the two bloggers who broke the current ATF scandal wide open. He visits Gun Talk with the latest updates on Operation Fast and Furious. Follow the story at http://www.examiner.com/gun-rights-in-national/david-codrea.

No rain, just too windy and not cold enuff. The birds aren't moving. I need the temp to drop a bit so I can finish sighting in the smokestick.

My report was from Ohio.

I know there is a Canadian front coming to Texas in the next 2 days. The weather is beautiful here except for the drought.

I saw those Prairie chickens again this week.

I’ll be in & out. Packing for a hunt. Leaving 5am tomorrow.
Will be hunting quail, squirrel, dear, bobcat and anything else there we got tags for. Taking a longtime friend and my 16y/o grandson. Just a day hunt up in the lower sierra’s.

Wood scraps and tennis balls are great for the river.

Alfa6 made some boats to float tannerite down the river LoL
We will shot the rest of the case on the 100 yard line.
I got like 8 traffic cones to use as targets and a bunch of tennis balls

I have some paper targets and “Shoot and see” targets but I dont know what we will use to tack them up.

I think some of the guys were bringing stuff for the pistol range.

A skeet launcher would be a lot of fun for shooting across the river.,

Speaking of gongs I have a couple of bottoms from some small compressed gas cylinders might have to see if I can fab up a stand right quick. One is steel and the other is aluminium.

Can you use a large bell for the range festivities?

Will put a couple of folding tables in the truck if I can remember. Will bring the Beeman and my new Mossberg 500 as well.

100 yards might be a little close if you’re using anything high-powered. I was thinking maybe 200 yards would be good. The steel is about 5/8ths inch thick.

Is it legal t shoot rifle rounds in a river?

It’s federal law you can’t shoot lead shot waterfowling anywhere but especially over water.
