Or I could use some of the meds he's not taking.

Thank you. I was getting ready to ask the same question. I’ve read it several times and still have no clue what he is saying

I just watched a video of him in full rant. He sounds like a child who can read the dictionary without comprehension. Essentially hiding behind a college degree. There's something wrong upstairs, and no one wants to call him on it.

He’s saying he does absolutely nothing but saying it in a confusing manner so it sounds like he does do something. First part he is saying he finds out what the weather will be and if he should bring an umbrella or not. He then says he plays World of Warcraft on the internet and then checks his trust fund bank account.

0bama’s Commie pal, Billy Ayers, came from a wealthy background also, but Ayers was disciplined, stone-cold killer and propagandist, whereas this kid only serves the revolution as a “useful idiot.”

Parents of these idiots should realize the left has no respect for human life and would kill these young people just as soon as look at them if it would advance their cause of bringing down this country. They inspire a murderous rage and betrayal in young people who are a tad nuts.

In the sixties they used campus protestors as unsuspecting cannon fodder against the police. Seeing their heads bleeding on teee veee made for good politics. The media never nailed the evil manipulators and made the rioters out to be victims.

Police in the cities were sorely abused for a time and then called off by leftist mayors so the riots could ensue. Bloomberg is following the m.o. He should not have permitted it to get this far. They have “progressed” to chant threats of murder and have expressed their goal of treason to the constitutional Republic.

Letter from Mom and Dad:

“Eddie, Thorazine is your friend. And son, no one here at the firm is going to hire you with the hair mop, a wussie beard, and the Rootie Kazootie hat.” Of course, we have great hopes for you elsewhere when you get your Masters in Aboriginal studies of Ethiopian Peoples.”

He keeps shouting; “We are strong.” What he really means is; “We are stoned.”

Given the piece I read on his dad, it is likely this guy was raised feeling ashamed and guilty for being American and white and male, as his dad was a diversity academic specializing in the victimhood of American Indians.

This young man doesn’t have much self respect and he’s desparate to make amends for the leftist guilt and hopelessness he carries. He wants to save the enviornment watermelon style.

Sounds just like Obama!!! Most liberals have learned the “art” of saying nothing in a convoluted way by stringing nearly random words together. Unfortunately they are often successful in fooling the poorly educated/indoctrinated souls who have not learned logic.

In his speeches Obama goes on and on and when it’s over one can honestly say that he said nothing of concrete value - other libs such as this one are copying this method of (non)communication.

You don’t call that paragraph the result of “serious study”? It think he has studied so seriously that he is educated FAR beyond his intelligence. Oh his own in the real world he would last about fifteen minutes.

By the way do you have any idea what this “excessive discounting” is about? I don’t know whether I should be about the task of moderating some of that...whatever in blazes it might be.

It's a ridiculously grandiose way of saying that he studies ways to avoid making expedient decisions based on immediate rewards vs. making the best long-term decisions (in other words, he studies how not to be short-sited regarding the environment). Like a lot of what is taught these days, he's learned the jargon, but the content is small.

Yes, what he said is that he has not learned one damned thing in school except how to string together some big words of which he has no clue of their meaning but he figures that the people reading this slop are even dumber than he is so they will think he actually said something. This is what passes for education now. I would bet a picture of Ben Franklin that he could not pass a seventh grade public school history test from 1956.

Many of these dirty hippies are trust fund parasites who would starve to death if they had to earn their own living.

Its not just the spoiled kids of the rich. Every day, I see middle class parents subsidizing their kids in ways that allow the kids to not support themselves. 30 year olds living with their parents; grandmothers who basically buy all their grandkids' food and diapers so the mothers don't have to. Grandmothers and grandfathers who take the grandkids every weekend so their kids can go out partying on the weekend. 30-something husbands who sit at home finding themselves while their wives work. The curse of an affluent society.

“I study intertemporal choice with respect to environmental decisions.”- He studies how the change of time correlates with changes in environmental decisionmaking (i.e. changes the general view on the environment and what needs to be done to fix whatever environmental problems may be seen)

“I wish to develop socially based interventions to help moderate excessive discounting.”— I’m pretty sure there is a word missing between moderate and excessive but this seems to me to be that he tries to find ways to start social movements (i.e. community organizing) to help speed up social recognition of what he sees as environmental problems; i.e. use community organizing to get people to not “discount” the “severity” of environmental problems.

“I am also especially interested in the organizing of research information for public use, and open access use of ideas for problem solving.”- creat free technologically based systems to provide information about the environment to individuals and what they can do to save any ills he sees in the environment.

In other words:
1. Find ways to pretend that those who don’t agree with his views are dumb/stuck in the past/ignorant
2. Find ways to start community organizing people behind his ideas
3. Give free resources to the organized people
