Controversial Therapy for Pre-Teen Transgender Patient Raises Questions

A lesbian couple in California who say their 11-year-old son Tommy may actually be a girl named Tammy are giving their child hormone blockers that delay the onset of puberty -- so that he can have more time to decide exactly who he, or she, is.

The couple’s supporters say the Hormone Blocking Therapy has only minor side effects and is appropriate for a child who is unsure of his gender. "This is definitely a changing landscape for transgender youth," said Joel Baum, director of education and training for Gender Spectrum, a California-based non-profit group. "This is about giving kids and their families the opportunity to make the right decision."

Since this social experiment came out a few years ago we are now hearing of more and more children being messed up, killing themselves etc.

Will anyone in the GOP speak up about this? Will they hell, the cowards on social issues, whether it be this or homosexuality stay silent for fear of being called a name by our pro homo media.

No one is ever born thinking they are something else unless it was pout into their minds

These sick freaks should never be allowed to get a hold of children , if ever a case was for child services to take a child away then this is it.

This kid has been raised for years now to be a girl because of these two selfish sick freaks telling this poor boy he must be a she.

Poor boy. I would adopt this boy in a heartbeat and let him be raised as nature intended and to be given a chance in life.
