Ever since liberals drug-tripped their way into thinking that marriage is a right, we've been bombarded with insipid comparisons between gay rights and the civil rights movement. Realistically, democrats started the gay rights movement during the civil rights movement when they had a raunchy love affair with Jim Crow.© (That's pretty clever, if I do say so myself. Kind of want to copyright that. ETA: Done.)
This has given rise to a new gold standard in liberal insults: homophobia. Some clever little person realized that a few very vocal anti-gay people turned out to be fruity themselves. An energy-saving light bulb came on in the collective liberal mind (a tiny dim room stinking of body odor and weed) when they realized that they could take the part and apply it to the whole. The rationale goes something like this: since those vocal anti-gays were afraid of their gayness and thus fought against it, all people who fight against the avalanche of fruits must also do so out of fear. The subtext, of course, is that the "homophobe" is gay himself.
See what they did there? They'll shout from the rooftops that there's nothing wrong with being gay--the more gay you are the better--extra points for minority/disabled gay friends--gay pride ba-bay! But then they turn around and use it as an insult.
It feeds into their neurotic obsession with outing conservatives for being hypocritical. It feeds their belief that they are right, and all they have to do is finally topple "the man" once and for all, because "the man" likes other men anyway--he just won't admit it.
"Homophobe" is a powerful insult, and it doesn't take much to earn it.
Conservative: "I don't think gays should get married."
Liberal: "Why not? You think people will marry animals next?"
Conservative: "Depending on the wording of the law, it's certainly possible, but my real concern is for the maintenance of a moral society. I'm sure some gays would get married and live quietly somewhere as taxpayers. But in reality it will create a troublesome new moral standard."
Liberal: "You racist homophobe. I can't imagine what it's like to be so full of hate. You should just go kill yourself."
Conservative: "Wait... what?"
Liberal: "I mean, how many black friends do you have?"
Conservative: "I don't know, I don't keep count."
Liberal: "You disgust me. You're almost as bad as those Jews that run the media and the world."
But in the media, the term homophobe is a bad publicity magnet. Chic-fil-a gives money to Focus on the Family and suddenly THOSE COWS ARE HOMOPHOBIC. Boycott! (Wait, aren't you vegan, Mr. liberal?) Anyone associated with anything "homophobic" must issue heartfelt apologies ("I had no idea of the anti-gay stance this company takes!") and then showcase his/her own acceptance of gays.
Some celebrity says "fag" to a straight person who is being an idiot. HOMOPHOBIC. You donate money to an organization like Focus on the Family. HOMOPHOBIC. You say gay pride parades are offensive, and straight pride parades would be too, because celebrations of sexuality have no place parading down the street. HOMOPHOBIC.
So here's my proposal. Let's use "-phobic" to our advantage. Example: Obama is Ameriphobic. The true gems will be ones that can be widely applied and will be widely denied. Democrats are workphobic because they want handouts.
Can you think of a good -phobe/-phobic for the libs?
“A homophobe is a homosexual who cant stand to admit his homosexuality, so he refers to himself as gay.”
That’s good!
What he really said was REALLY vulgar. It makes my jaw drop.
That’s why I paraphrased.
But you get the point. And I agree with tthat point.
Also, “proud American and a Conservative Republican Jew”.
I have a very dificult question for you,
Tell how you feel about the Trade for Shalit?
Very dificult.
when I said “Conservative Republican Jew”,I meant the Republican Party of the U.S.
Good one.
I reject the liberals changing words to make their filthy lifestyle sound more acceptable.
They aren't ‘gay’, they are Queers. Angry oddballs.
Gay has always meant happy, queer means odd. They can either call themselves queers or ‘Odds’.
