Mexican drug cartels recruiting Texas children (are called "the expendables")

SAN ANTONIO (Reuters) - Texas law enforcement officials say several Mexican drug cartels are luring youngsters as young as 11 to work in their smuggling operations.

Steven McCraw, director of the Texas Department of Public Safety, told Reuters the drug gangs have a chilling name for the young Texans lured into their operations.

"They call them 'the expendables,'" he said.

McCraw said his investigators have evidence six Mexican drug gangs -- including the violent Zetas -- have "command and control centers" in Texas actively recruiting children for their operations, attracting them with what appears to be "easy money" for doing simple tasks.

"Cartels would pay kids $50 just for them to move a vehicle from one position to another position, which allows the cartel to keep it under surveillance to see if law enforcement has it under surveillance," he said. "Of course, once you're hooked up with them, there's consequences." McCraw said 25 minors have been arrested in one Texas border county alone in the past year for running drugs, acting as lookouts, or doing other work for organized Mexican drug gangs. The cartels are now fanning out, he said, and have operations in all major Texas cities.

The Expendables - sounds like a great anti-drug gang movie title. Too bad Hollywood would be on the side of the killers....

YOO HOO,SENOR RICARDO, LISTEN UP Savage Mexican drugs gangs, La Familia and Los Zetas, are operating openly in Austin-—not far from the state house-—AND in Dallas......unimpeded by L/E.

We know from Fast and Furious reports that Mexican drug cartels were supplied weapons by the Obama Administration which is also working to prevent arrests of illegal Mexicans invading the US.

Besides setting up drug distribution from Texas-—the Zetas are a former Mexico military unit——ergo, the specter of reconquista comes into sharp focus.

The savage drug gangs are also involved in auto theft, prostitution, identity fraud and other crimes. They are making enormous profits and are armed and protected by the Obama Admin.

Millions of US tax dollars are going to these groups via “The Merida Inititrive” enacted by our spendthrift Congress-——ostensibley to “fight the drug wars.”

Clearly, the “drug wars” are a scam——manipulated by Mexico and the Third World to get their greedy hands on US tax dollars.

Invasions by the Third World are being orchestrated-—so that these govts have voting blocs to pressure Congress for more and more tax dollars.

“Perry is blaming the President”

Do you think that the U.S. Justice Department, Secretary Napolitano and the ATF are under the jurisdiction of the President or the Governor of Texas?

Do you think Texas is the only state having problems with Mexican drug gangs and all other states have no problems at all? Do you think that the states have the legal right to enforce Federal Immigration law? What do you think the recent struggles in Arizona were about? The Obama Administration has gone to court many times to insist that states NOT do anything to enforce immigration laws that these are Federal responsibilities.

It seems you know nothing about “fast and furious” and the Obama Administration providing guns to Mexican drug gangs. Or maybe you think ATF is under the authority of the Governor of Texas.

Did you see Obama bragging about the great job his administration is doing on the border and how anyone who disagrees wants a “moat filled with alligators”? Maybe you agree with that.

Learn a little bit about what is really going on. And stop making excuses for the Obama Administration.

Actually... Border enforcement is a federal responsibility not a state responsibility.

They're too stupid to realize that. ;-)

What I find amusing is how Rick Perry is living rent-free in some of these peoples' heads 24/7. It's fun to watch them foam at their mouths.

I'm for whoever can keep Romney from the nomination and subsequently defeat Obama. (Minus Paul or Huntsman, but they're not really factors...)
