WaPo Finds Blacks Demanding Racial (Racist?) Unity Behind Obama

The front page of The Washington Post carried a story Tuesday on black liberals demanding all blacks stand with President Obama -- just because he's black.

“Let's not even deal with the facts right now. Let’s deal with just our blackness and pride — and loyalty,” [radio host Tom] Joyner wrote on his BlackAmericaWeb.com blog. “We have the chance to re-elect the first African-American president, and that’s what we ought to be doing. And I’m not afraid or ashamed to say that as black people, we should do it because he’s a black man.”

Any response from me on this nonsense, even though I have never been a racist, would clearly be seen as racist, very racist.

I missed that. And I’m sorta glad I did.

You know, this goes beyond the Stockholm Syndrome. Some of these people are not just in love with their political captors, they actually want to defend their chains to the death.

Hey, if the plantation gate is open and you don’t want to walk out, suit yourself. But heckling those who do just gets a little weird.

I hear many blacks asking “What has Obama done for the black community?” The answer is always the same “Nothing”.

“Vote skin color? What about the content of their character?”

Nearly all Blacks would not subscribe to what Martin Luther KIng taught. Just take a look at districts represented by Blacks. They have, and continue to elect slime balls “solely because of their skin color.” Example” When Adam Clayton Powell headed back to Bimni, “his people” elected Charlie Rangel. Both were/are crooks of the highest order, but you get the feeling that the constituency actually likes that fact. Somehow they like that their “elected officials” are getting over on whitey.

OTOH, thinking of politics in terms of ‘the black community” is part of the problem.

We need to get to the point where we realize and accept that we’re all in this together. That it is what is good for the country as whole that ends up being good for us.

Herman Cain would not be focused on doing “for” the “black community,” I don’t think. He’s focused on getting blacks who are willing to to get in the big boat that we’re all in and start rowing with the rest of us — thereby also reaping the benefits the accrue to our entire nation when we have pro-growth policies.

About the Film “The Runaway Slave Movie”

http://www.runawayslavemovie.com/site/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=126&Itemid=427

The makers of the breakout movie “Tea Party: The Documentary Film” explore the phenomenon of Black Conservatives in their new film Runaway Slave.

Runaway Slave is a new documentary that exposes the economic slavery of the Black community to the Progressive policies of the US government and how Black Conservatives are leading the fight so all Americans can be “free at last.”

Runaway Slave follows, C.L. Bryant, former NAACP Chapter President and self-professed “Democratic radical” turned pastor, political activist and Black Conservative. As a first-hand witness of the civil rights movement and a member of an interracial family; C.L. provides unique insight into an issue that is rarely black and white.

Today, groups such as the NAACP and other civil rights leaders are peddling the Black community to the lowest bidders. “There is a 50-year old lie that has caused an entire people to become harlots to the political idea that government knows what is best,” C.L. Bryant. Are today’s civil rights leaders merely the overseers of today’s Progressive plantations?

Many have found power and even wealth in their victimhood gig. And for some, they live a comfortable, ignorant and slothful life, but have everything they want or need, just by playing the role of perpetual victim.

I think that you are and I would like for you to be right. But I listen to the Jesse Peterson Radio Show at every opportunity and obama support from the callers is strong, not as many as there used to be but still strong. The obama supporters have been throughly indoctrined as to Democrat Party propganda.

They have, and continue to elect slime balls “solely because of their skin color.

Yep, another example is the repeated re-election of Shirley Jackson Lee (D-Houston). Several well qualified, non-black candidates have run against her, but voter "enthusiasm" favored Shirley.

The only thing white about Obama’s Mama was her skin color.

But why is anyone making a big deal out of some jerkwad saying vote for Obama because he is black.

THAT IS HOW HE GOT ELECTED IN THE FIRST PLACE.

Of course they will vote for him again .

I agree but looking at the last election and how they voted is a bigger problem today. They voted strictly color and this is what they got.

I actually thought this was John’s semi-satire (courtesy ping, John). Truth is stranger (and uglier) than fiction

So did I. That's what makes John so good. He wirtes the kind of thing they could say in an unguarded or excited moment. They believe this stuff, and we all recognize it when he writes it, and sometimes it takes a moment to realize that it actually never was said, it's satire.

Jonathan Swift move over.

There have got to be Black Americans who find that message deeply insulting...I just wonder how many there are?

They're all hanging out with the good, peace-loving, tolerant muslims.

Say huh?

True conservatives don’t discriminate based on skin color. Time for you to wake up and join the 21st century.
