Napolitano on ATF Fast and Furious: "We're waiting for the Inspector General"

By Sharyl Attkisson

WASHINGTON - Homeland Security Chief Janet Napolitano said today she had no conversations with her one-time chief of staff former Arizona US Attorney Dennis Burke, about the Fast and Furious scandal that led to Burke's resignation. Burke was Napolitano's Chief of Staff when she governor of Arizona. He's the only government official to step down in the wake of the controversial operation that allowed thousands of weapons to be sold to traffickers supplying Mexican drug cartels.

At a Senate Judiciary Committee Oversight hearing today, Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) questioned Napolitano about what communications she had after two Fast and Furious guns were found at the murder scene of Border Patrol Agent Brian Terry last December. Napolitano answered that she met with Assistant US Attorneys in the case because "I wanted to be sure those responsible for his death were brought to justice and every resource brought to bear." Napolitano says she did have conversations in December 2010 about the murder of Agent Terry "but at that point in time nobody knew about Fast and Furious."

An internal ATF email dated the day after Terry's death reveals the quick decision to not disclose the source of the weapons found at the murder when the primary suspect was charged: "... this way we do not divulge our current case (Fast and Furious) or the Border Patrol shooting case," wrote an ATF official.

As CBS News previously reported, an Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent under Napolitano's Homeland Security agency was assigned to a team of federal agents responsible for the Fast and Furious case.

Napolitano told Sen. Grassley she has asked ICE to look into the matter, but that she has taken no further action pending the results of a Justice Department Inspector General investigation.

"We are waiting for the Inspector General," Napolitano said.

Nappy and her cohorts in NM are the reason that the cartels are doing whatever they want to down there. Two groups of criminals helping each other.

PLEASE NOTE:

It turns out that this IG worked as the direct subordinate of Holder for over 2 years —they authored many briefs with him.

HOLDER IS MORE OR LESS HER BOSS...!

During her vetting she never brought up ANY of this.

There is a REASON why she was chosen as IG, ok? TO **NOT** ACT AS IG.

Permit me to summon up my powers of ESP —her report will conclude that NOOOOOOOTHINK BAD HAPPENED AT ALL.

Go over to Sipsey Street Irregulars —the guy has the complete report. She hasn’t taken even the most basic interviews that would be required —like asking ANY questions of the key officers in Arizona.

She hasn’t done ANY OF THAT.

You don’t need to convince me - I saw the FBI hide the murderers of my CEO back from 1981; there is nothing I trust in this “Just-Us” department.

The addition of straw purcheses that include “walking” grenades , indicate to me that the intent wasn’t just to limit 2nd amendment rights of USA citizens.

Obviously, since not even police authorities have access to grenades (other than concussion and flash-bangs), the intent was to facilitate military-like chaos in Mexico . This would lead to massive social /political /economic emmigration into the USA through the unrestrained southern border .

Great link! That is exactly why I'm talking about --Holder is being investigated by his friend and loyal SUBORDINATE, and that is why he keeps pointing to this BIIIIIG, BAAAD, INDEPENDENT, SUPER DUPER OUUUUTSIDE investigaaaaation:

----------------------------------------------------

It turns out that Ms. Schnedar has long and close ties to Mr. Holder. According to her biography on the Justice Department website, she became assistant U.S. attorney in Washington, D.C. in 1994. Eric Holder had become the U.S. attorney in Washington the previous year, so he in effect was Schnedar's boss from 1994 until 1997, when he left to become President Clinton's deputy attorney general. Holder would become a key player in the scandalous pardons of fugitive billionaire Marc Rich and members of the Puerto Rican nationalist terrorist group known as FALN.

But during Ms. Schnedar's tenure before Holder had departed, it happened that they had ended up working a number of cases together. According to the LexisNexis website, there were at least fourteen of them, usually at the appellate level. For Holder, it was more than just "in name only"; in some of those cases, they apparently co-filed legal briefs.

In one case, they had represented the ATF. In another, they represented both the ATF and DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration), an agency that has now also been linked to Fast and Furious.

Whenever either Eric Holder or President Obama is pressed on Fast and Furious, both refer to the Justice Department's internal investigation that happens to be headed by Ms. Schnedar.

------------------------------------------------

3,000 Mexicans and 2 US officers are dead, and to investigate the bad guy, the system is RELYING ON HIS PERSONAL **FRIEND.**
