(CNSNews.com) -- Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano told the Senate Judiciary Committee on Wednesday that under the administrations policy of exercising prosecutorial discretion in the enforcement of the immigration laws, her department is currently authorizing some illegal aliens to work in the United States.
Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), the ranking-member of the Senate Judiciary panel, asked Napolitano: According to the information from your department, some individuals who are given relief will obtain work authorizations. So people with no right to be in the country will be allowed to work here. Is that correct?

The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
what we need is for these idiots in our govt to be tarred and feathered
Super Dyke strikes again
Explain to me, again, why they shouldn't have something bad happen to them.

The 0bamao administration is looking more and more like an occupation government, operating ad hoc in whatever manner they deem fit. The laws of the nation do not matter anymore, because the nation has been overthrown.
Gives the “Occupy” protests new meaning.
We are living under occupation right now.
We are dire need of a huge government purge, November 2012 can’t come soon enough.
The system worked !!!!! FUJN
Napolitano does it again. She is aiding Illegal aliens.
Can’t wait to see all the anti-fencers from the recent border threads spin this.
Keep them out to begin with so Democrats cannot use them like this and this cannot happen.
One step in guaranteeing a majority in 2012 for the dimocrats is all.
First of all, removing 400,000 per year puts us way behind when there are at least 20 million here. Also, I saw on news last night that private jets are chartered to fly illegals back to Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, etc. We are in really, really bad shape with this cancerous problem. It's costly when they stay and costly to remove 'em, especially when they return again and again.
One thing I'd like Republican candidates to address is this sob story of how our "immigration system separates families." That is a choice that the deported adult makes when they leave their babies behind and they do it all the time to get the free education and all the other free stuff.
You are correct.......
Barrack Obama OWH (occupied the White House)
Oh you silly, you are one of those "Constitution" fanatics that wants to follow outdated laws when we have the opportunity for "change", eh? /s
Putting an American in prison for a serious crime separates them from their family as well. Do we not punish the guilty?
Whereas a family can follow their illegal freely to the illegal’s homeland.
That’s the argument to make on that one. No way for a lib to counter it.
No candidate is speaking against work permits for illegals. Not any. Ever. You can not GET them to say they are against work permits. Try it. There will be no round ups, no trains.
Now, if we talk about pressing businesses who hire illegals and making businesses accountable for doing so, then we can find some commentary. To some extent doing something like that en masse, and overnight, would have a very negative impact on small businesses and the economy, because that labor may not be easily replaced at the same low wage for at least a period of time. Just askin’.
Yes they can and they will, they will just say any criminal with a family should be confined to house arrest and not incarcerated.
Let them do it and see how well that goes over with the voters ;)
I wish they would!
Ah, see the Zero’s don’t even have to go to congress. Jan the Man has instituted Amnesty all by himself.
