Freepers, not long ago I almost threw my TV at BOR for his glib dismissal of CAIN's candidacy. I steamed for over a week (and I still smoke abit).
Citing no data or reasons other than BOR's superior intellect and mysterious 'sense' of universal truth, tonight BOR shocked me...he slathered all over this in his opening: 'Talking Points, wherein he defended Cain's 9-9-9, and said Cain deserves serious consideration.

Even better. When a pompous arse recognizes a good economic plan, it’s a really good economic plan.

The Leperchauns sudden religion is just a case of not wanting to lose audience.I think you're right, but if that's true and Ted Baxter thinks dissing Cain will cost him audience, Cain must be catching on.

Did you see where in an interview today Cain said he, basically had no choice but to go on the attack now, that the other GOP candidates were “getting on his last nerve”?
LOL
The thread is close-by, I think.

Bill O’Reilly likes Cain? What about those US troops he claims massacred Nazis at Malmedy? Has he started to like them? Thanks Rudder.

So what you are saying is the meaning of a BOR endorsement is that it represents what the little guy thinks/wants.
Cool for Cain!

Pumping up Cain only helps Romney at this point—and BOR knows that.
To: Rudder
Correction. In the clip Ted Baxter said that Romney was a much stronger general election candidate, Cain would require too much on the job training, and that Obama desperately wanted to run against the inexperienced Cain. Baxter also added a backhanded compliment to Cain thanking him for making the primary season "interesting."

Oh, please. Who said anything about BOR doing anyone’s thinking?
BOR follows, he doesn’t lead, anyway.
The importance of this, such as it is, is that it demonstrates that BOR thinks a whole lot of people thinks Cain’s plan will help them and the country.

Here, succinctly, altura and my FRiends, is the measuring standard.
To what extent does it make the libs heads explode?
What do they say and think?
What do they prattle on Huff Post and DU about it? Do they mask their fear and concern with ridicule?
IF they cannot STAND IT, then it is a NET GOOD for HERMAN CAIN.

as each debate goes on I’m liking Newt more and more and I am convinced that Newt can easily wipe the floor with zero.
If Cain does not get the nominee then Newt is my man.
He has not attacked any republican thus far, his knowledge of history , constitution, debating skills, the way Govt works, founding fathers etc are all above the others and would easily wipe the floor of zero.
Not only that he has told the media on many occasions that he will not play their game and after last night Newt looked to be the adult between Romney and Perry.
I know I will never get a full candidate for me but I do think he will stop the homo agenda, overturn obamacare, overturn the insane law of homosexuals/cross dressers serving openly.
We’ll see what the future hold but as of right now Newt is fast becoming my man .
Can’t believe I actually think that

Wishful thinking on my part, I guess. I can't stand the man. I stand corrected.

No...perhaps I wasn’t clear enough. BOR is a reed bent by the wind. His praise for anyone comes with a four second guarantee, because he is without solid foundation—unless you want to consider “currently interesting” as a basis on which to make decisions.
Good Lord, I called him Clinton. How could you think that was complimentary?
This is not an analysis of Cain’s plan, by the way. His plan may be a good one. Or it may not—but using BOR as a barometer thereof is not a good idea.
I would trust the analysis of a thorough conservative—Rush, Sowell, Club for Growth. Ted Baxter is just too squirrely.
"A wise and frugal government, which shall leave men free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned - this is the sum of good government." Thomas Jefferson
