I guess Perry doesn’t get it...

Cain’s NST is a detractor... NOT the reason he is out in front.

Perry’s just not very smart.

You forget that I went through several decades of Reagan, Newt, Bush 41, Clinton, and “W”. Newt has a long track record for having one of the worst political records including personal corruption, among his kind. (What he did to his second wife) The man is a snake.

It's on the record. This Leopard can't change his spots, (Or stripes if you are ALGORE.)

Sorry, at this point, all Cain has is a bunch of talk, which he is a professional at, but nothing more. His biggest problem is, it is all starting to catch up to him and now he is having to explain himself in greater detail, which in itself is proving to cause him great difficulty.

Magic rule of problems and success in almost aspects of operations

Another magic 80/20 rule: 80% of your business is generated by 20% of your customers.

I like Cain, and I’m also liking Newt. Cain seems to be the outsider with fresh ideas, a huge heart, and fire in his belly. Newt is the former insider, with much wisdom gained from all his mistakes. I love it when he gets the chance to speak in these debates. The knowledge, wisdom and statesmanship just pours out of him. I hope people give him a second look. Nobody on that stage is without flaw.

I think either Cain or Newt could easily beat Obama, and be the kind of President that this country needs right now.

lol!

Perry's campaign is on life suport -- literally. The more time passes the more he drops. Yet his fangirls are pretending he's on a comback? lol!

Having faith, hope and desire is one thing but ignoring reality only makes one look foolish.

Yes I have. Mitt went after him about his 999 plan. I was waiting for Cain to ask him ‘where’s your plan’?

The article says nothing about Perry making a comeback.

Not the part posted, for sure.

Clarity posted the article. Clarity didn’t write the article or publish it. And the article makes a point only about Perry’s degree of “gung ho-ness” if you will, compared to previous debates.

Not one word from anyone I’ve read about a comeback.

Girls? Aren’t any “girls” posting for Perry.

You pitched your own balls to yourself and struck yourself out.

A la Bugs Bunny...

The only way that Romney can be stopped is if votes are not split between two or more candidates.

We did that in 2008 with Huckabee, Thompson, Romney etc. and got John McCain.

Lets not repeat that mistake again.

Newt has big baggage like his support of the liberal GOP congressional candidate Dede Scozzafava against a conservative candidate in upstate New York a few yearsa ago.

Perception is apparently not one of your strong points. The 3%er who created this thread also created this one and this one. I've read enough of her posts to know she has absolutely zero grasp on reality and that she does indeed believe La Raza Rick Perry, while still free-falling in the polls, is making a comeback.

And your joke about my balls was neither witty or accurate. All it did was reveal you to be one classless act. But that doesn't surprise me, most 3%ers are.

Have a nice night.

It’s like a bad soap opera or reality show.

Yes. Yes it is.

Did you know that the way he turned Godfather’s Pizza around was by closing 20% of the restaurants and laying off some 400 people — some job creator!

If the alternative is closing 100% of the restaurants, what do you suggest?

That's how it gets done in the real world. It's the private sector where profits matter, where you can't print money out of thin air, you must compete to survive, where you can't tax your way to prosperity.

How many have been employed by Godfathers in the 20 years since he saved the company?

I felt the same way about Newt before I read this:

http://www.redstate.com/wonkish1/

I agree that he’s a very flawed man, but I think he is the very best person out there running able to express to the American people the huge gulf between Obama’s America and the America we all love & cherish. All of these candidates have flaws. Some more glaring than others. What we don’t want is to get stuck with someone without vision. That’s not Gingrich. (Remember the Contract with America.) It’s not Cain either. I’d be happy with either one.

I think Bachman should bow out -- I liked her before all of this, but she's now coming across as whiny and shrill with not much of a plan. Gingrich is ok, but his support levels are low. Cain seems like the man against Perry and Romney. The rest should also bow out.

between Perry and Cain, I prefer Cain, but am not "anti-Perry" -- I AM very, very much anti-Romney.

He didn’t turn the business around by making it do better, he closed restaurants. Anyone can close businesses — what we need is NEW businesses and jobs.

Note -- he shut down branches that were underperforming and concentrated on those that WERE performing. That is supporting the existing business. The alternative would be that ALL the branches would be shut down. Which is preferable?

Yes, it doesn't directly translate into public sector at first glance, but if you look at this, we have a lot of areas that government should just NOT be in and have a huge budget deficit. Cut the flab from government. That is what Cain can do.

Cain wants to analyze each government program and decide if it should be cut by 5%, 50%, or altogether

That is smart by Cain. The others are just playing on emotions "oh we'll cut 5%" -- they make cut 5% from something that is really needed and for something that is useless they will leave 95%...

Oh, I get it--you believe it is much better to provide government bailouts to failing businesses.

One more time: The last thing we need is another tongue-tied Texan POTUS.
