Occupy L.A. protesters camped outside City Hall plan to expand their demonstration to other downtown city property, perhaps as early as Wednesday evening. [snip]

If he is a fully tenured professor, then he is making at least $80,000-$100,000+. I’m not sorry for him.
I don’t know what he is teaching, but many professors teach totally unuseable leftist, gender, psychobabble bullshit.
No wonder some of his students can’t get a job. They didn’t get a useable education.
While he does pinpoint some serious economic problems in America, he conveniently forgets to say who is ruining, er, running the country, Obama, his marxist advisors and czars, and the Democrats (including Boxer, Feinstein, Pelosi, Waters, etc).
The mayor of his city is a leftist ahole who had helped to drive it into the muck. The same for San Francisco, Oakland, Berkeley, etc.
Let him give up 50% of his income to the poor and then let him clean out his own leftist outhouse city and state.
Meanwhile, I just have to keep on working two jobs, paying exorbitant taxes to my spendthrift, illegal immigrant loving county, and watching the DC politicians piss away millions of dollars by practicism cronyism, corruption, and plain old marxist politics.
I don't know where you look for hope, pal, but here is mine:
Your breaking news story has boiled down to about 20 people and 3 tents.
Link at #24 will tell ya this.
Occupy Douwntown L.A. all you want!.....You turds are in the toilet...who cares?
I’m glad that union corruption hasn’t gotten to the point that it’s subverting LA law enforcement’s stance vis a vis the Occupiers. My apologies if I have been over-cynical.
Apology accepted FRiend.
not true. was there yesterday. about 90 tents 200 people when slow
Used to be that people like him donated time and money to churches and other social services to help his fellow man.
But, as we become more secularized and more dependent on Uncle Sugar instead of ourselves, it’ll have to come to a head someday...maybe soon
From the the article....
It has been nearly three weeks since several dozen people pitched tents outside City Hall to protest economic policies that they say favor the rich. Demonstrators say about 700 people now stay there each night — including a sizable homeless population — and there isnt room for many more.
According to city officials, protesters have trampled the lawn. On Wednesday, officials said that reviving it could cost the city as much as $400,000.
So they destroy the grass and its going to cost the taxpayers additional $400K to replace when the finally decide to quite their hissy fit. Unbelievable.
