HAHAHA! My stepson and his girlfriend used to play “We’re not leaving” at bars. They would sit there for a long time without ordering anything and then, when asked to leave, they would politely say, “We’re not leaving”. Eventually they would be carried out. I don’t know why they thought it was fun, but they did. One time he was there with crutches he had found. He feigned great pain as they carried him out.

The OWS is about two things: (1) timeline and (2) testing limits.

There are two concurrent timelines: the length of time a critical mass of OWSers are willing to sleep outdoors and the length of time the NYPD is prepared to wait for the critical mass to dwindle.

There are two sets of limits: how long OWSers are willing to hold out and how much misbehavior the NYPD is willing to tolerate before they crack down.

So the goal of the OWS is to provoke the NYPD just enough to crack down before they lose critical mass.

If the NYPD blink first, the OWS wins.

I hate professional protestors. There were only a handful of people here and there and all of a sudden they’re organized and wreaking havoc everywhere.

I feel like the people who really lost out are too busy trying to get it back together to go swarming all over the place making a mess and costing us money.

The real culprits, IMO, are in DC. The fact that the protestors aren’t marching in DC tells me this is nothing but a sham.

Occupy doesn't want anything -- their "demands" are unmeetable -- what it is about is installing these...mobs, all over the place. Once in place, they can be whipped into a frenzy -- in fact, how can that even be avoided?. They already think the world needs changing and they're the one's to do it. It's a dangerous and potent mix of delusions, free time, and well-financed manipulation.
