There is still the matter of all of the weapons that went missing. Who's hands are they in now?
It should also be noted that the dictators that are being brought down in the name of "democracy" are/were for the most part Israel neutral. That is, they were not on record as wanting to "wipe them off the map" and pretty much willing to live side by side in peace.
Looking down the road on this I don't see it as turning out well...JMHO.
