Sept. 2011 BLS report:
"In the 49 metropolitan areas with a Census 2000 population of 1 million or more, the highest unemployment rates in August were registered in Las Vegas-Paradise, Nev., and Riverside-San Bernardino-Ontario, Calif., 14.2 and 14.1 percent, respectively."
I see Reid's reason for optimism. Las Vegas was 15.5 last year and now has a near full-employment rate of 14.2 unemployment rate. The Reno-Sparks area similarly is boiling hot going from 13.9 to a almost full employment rate of 13.0 unemployment rate.
Yes sir ol' Harry is right on.. on something or other.

You can bet Dingy Harry wouldn’t have come out with this ridiculous statement if he hadn’t just been reelected, sure hope the people of NV remember this.
