They always knew the bill would fail. Nobody cosponsored the bill. Reid introduced it “per request”. The purpose of the bill is to provide a campaign talking point against the GOP as cold-hearted obstructionists.

And one of the female, mush for brains commentators, was gleefully reporting how this is going to really, really be good for the wonderful Demoncrats and how it was going to be really, really bad for the old mean Republicans. They don’t have a clue about the attitude of those of us in “fly over country.”
No thank you. The unions can just increase the union dues on the people they already have. Problem solved, and no one else suffers because of it. Just leave us tax payers out of it.
