Occupy Wall Street Demands Global UN Tax and Worldwide G20 Protest
Investment Watch ^ | October 20th, 2011 | Investment Watch staff

Occupy’s busting out on a new path … So Adbusters is asking people all around the world to march on Oct. 29. “We want to send a clear message that we the people want to slow down this global casino.” And Adbusters does have one specific demand, a 1 percent tax on financial-sector transactions. Some form of that idea, known as the “Robin Hood” tax.

Dominant Social Theme: We want justice for the world and the UN will give it to us.

Free-Market Analysis: Kalle Lasn, founder of Adbusters magazine, based in Vancouver, B.C. – the magazine that issued the call for the initial Occupy Wall Street protests – has called on people to protest the upcoming G20 while demanding a one-percent tax on financial transactions.

..The financial sales tax has been around for a very long time but has found its most recent voice in a column by Jerry Large of the Seattle Times. He recently gained an exclusive interview with Kalle Lasn, who sounds as if he hopes that a large protest on Oct 29th will mark the beginning of a push for such a tax.

What’s going on is pure one-worldism, an OWS ideology that is gradually revealing itself in dribs and drabs. It is one reason that that the OWS leaders have made no specific demands. They have hoped to create a momentum, apparently, before revealing what they are truly after. The movement seems to be part of a larger wave of directed history that has been in play for at least a century and is now reaching a dénouement.

The one-percent tax has been a staple of United Nations demands for more than a decade. Google UN and “one-percent tax” and plenty of information will appear – over three million citations, in fact.

The UN wouldn’t know justice if the UN tripped over it while rushing down a dark alley to participate in the gang rape of a third-world country.

This may be the real reason for Occupy Wall street. Canada and United States have been an obstacle to a global financial transaction tax.

European Commission calls for global tax, Canada says can block it

The European Commission said Wednesday it would push next month’s G20 summit to agree on a global financial transaction tax, but Canada said it may have enough support to block such a move.

..The idea has run into stiff resistance from Canada, the United States, Australia, China and others.

“...known as the “Robin Hood” tax.”

Robin Hood took tax money collected from the citizenry and returned it to them. I think these dopes are talking about a “Joseph Stalin Tax”.

It all makes sense why this it initiated out of Canada -Adbusters, with links to Soros (tides foundation). They are trying to manipulate public opinion before the G20, Geithner I am sure is on board.

The point of a “global tax” is so that the UN can fund an army to impose its will on the world.

All other excuses are just sugar coated lies.

This is the worst thing about the MSM coverage of the OWS protest . . . it is an action by FOREIGN NATIONALS on American soil. This is no "grass roots" American movement, it is a concerted effort by Adbusters against America with the assistance of the unions and the American Communist Party.

If the American people actually knew that the Canadian Adbusters was behind all of this, any hint of popular support would evaporate.

The OWS is creating "The Committee for Public Safety" to deal with problems at the encampments.

Can you say "Après moi le déluge"? Obama is letting us know that if he does not win re-election, all Hell is going to break loose...

Explains why Pelosi sides with Occupy Wall Street.

Nancy Pelosi pushes global financial fee(Dec 2009)

Speaker Nancy Pelosi gave her strongest endorsement yet of a global financial transaction fee Thursday after raising the issue directly with Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner in a conversation this week.

Geithner was widely seen as opposing such a levy when it was proposed by Gordon Brown, the British prime minister, at a meeting of G-20 finance ministers last month in Scotland. But after their phone conversation Wednesday, Pelosi told colleagues that the secretary indicated he was more open to some such fee than had been reported

So instead of a national government accountable to the people that has been taken over by corporations, Occupy Wall Street wants a structurally unaccountable government run by corporations?

Great idea.

These idiots don't seem to know that the UN was set up by international bankers looking to use treaty law to get around the private property protections of the Constitution.

If this country had any real gonads, we’d kick these little defecating hippie communists OUT of our taxpayer funded parks and public areas. They are proving themselves enemies of this country.

No more dirtying up our city areas and crapping on people’s doorsteps. They have truly worn out their welcome.

If this is what they eventually come up with as their message, their movement is dead. We already pay more to the UN than any other nation. In fact, we should be REDUCING our "charity", and using the money for U.S. tax breaks. People here need jobs.

The polls showed people supporting the movement at first, and that emboldened them, but people thought - as far as they could tell - the kids wanted jobs and big money out of politics (both left and right) - not the other way around!

Other than stopping the city from cleaning up their filth what have the OWSers accomplished?
Otherwise, you know what I find most interesting is how dumb one can be even though they have a University or College degree.
I mean these OWSers if they had any sense could make themselves much more comfortable.
It wouldn’t take a lot of money either.

The scary part is one of them could be President one day.
Oh wait, one of them is President.
I can not believe Ibama’s overall appoval rating is not around 21%!?!
Anyhow, I could suggest a few simple solutions that would make the OWSers lives much more comfortable.
But, then again why should I?
They are smarter than everyone else...let them figure it out.

A little 2 Thess 3:10 would sure clean up their attitudes real quick.

A hungry belly would motivate them to be a bit more “productive” and less whiney.
