"Rick Perry -- now coming out with, really embracing Steve Forbes' flat tax idea -- that's going to gain momentum. I look forward to hearing more of the details," she said. "In fact, when I heard that Rick Perry was embracing of Steve Forbes' idea, I went into my garage and dug out an old book from 1999 that Steve Forbes had written. ......Many aspects of it make so much sense - - about the freedom to choose - taxpayer how to file your taxes …..choose a simpler, fairer flat tax…..many of the aspects of it make so much sense."....

Do illegal aliens have to pay Perry's proposed flat tax?

Can they get an exemption because their last name sounds different?

If you insist they pay the same flat rate, are you heartless?

Duh, no one said she is, actually I won, Mr Jim a hundred bucks, betting she would not, he got his money. She doesn’t need the job and is doing really well where she is. But she does think Hermans plan is great.

“Actually she said she would tweak it by removing the corporate tax part, so maybe she’s for his 9-9 plan, or whatever it’s gonna be next week after he changes it.”

That’s right, I remember that now. So far Gov. Palin has been positive about Cain, Perry’s reviving Forbes flat tax, Gingrich, Bachmann - I guess she’s the team player of the bunch.

It is impossible to trust Romney as president, but not Perry.

Perry has had MUCH more success as TX guv than Mitt had in Mass. No comparison.

Perry may be dumb as rocks in debates, but he has been a pretty effective executive. And he is decidedly more conservative than Romney.

I’m sure Cain’s statement has to do with the fact that he and Perry are vying for the same voters.

If Perry and Cain joined forces to attack Slick Willard’s “plan” on a united front”

Cain said he would join ANY of the candidates....just NOT Perry. That old racist N-stone, you know.
I’m sticking with my tagline which I’ve had since this all started. The following link has a few sentences that portray Cain in common sense language. He belongs to a very liberal Baptist church where his parents were members. His pastor cites Malcom X as one of the influences in his own life. A long line of civil rights activist have spoken at this powerful church. (Side note: Cain shared a pew with a Rev Joe Beasley, a Deacon at Antioch who used the N-word more times than can be counted...in church.Beasley is also the Southern Regional Director for Jessee Jackson’s PUSH.I hope Cain can change the hearts of his fellow parishoners.)But of course Barack Obama wasn’t bothered by Rev Wright either. While the pastor of Antioch disagrees with Cain, they are friends. Cain says there are racists in the Tea Party movement. A quote from a former minister to CNN: (Robinson):“He knows there’s racism in the tea party, but he’ll never say that because they are his supporters. That bothers a lot of people, but he plays to that base not because he’s a sellout but because he’s a politician,”

Just kind of shows you everyone has a problem. It’s all in the eye of the beholder.

“I’m sure Cain’s statement has to do with the fact that he and Perry are vying for the same voters.”

What you said is true, but I still think Herman Cain really does not trust Perry, the reason being Perry often says if he is elected, he will work to make the federal government as inconsequential in peoples lives as possible. Perry is a tenth amandment guy. Nothing Cain has ever said makes me think Cain wants any part of that philosophy.

Good reason to not hire the professionals, never know who they are really working for. Support bought and paid for, is still for sale, you do not get a title just a rental.

****** “In addition to your salient argument:

Sales tax eliminates the IRS. Flat tax does not.

Sales tax encourages saving and investment.

Sales tax collects from all spectrum of society, including the super rich, trust fund babies, and the underground economy.

Sales tax should not apply to food. Eliminates the “hits poor the hardest” argument.” ******

Slick Rick dawdled around for months while others carried the conservative banner, yet he had no platform other than "we gone do just what we done did in Texas to make jobs."

With his candidacy collapsing, Slick Rick gets Forbes to formulate a tax proposal. The problem is that Herman Cain has been using a tax plan as his platform for months, while Ricardo tried to convince people that he was the creator of all those jobs in Texas. LOL.

Lower taxes and less regulations go hand in hand with economic growth and jobs.

Gov. Perry’s economic growth package tackles tax reform, entitlement reform and real spending reductions to address the growing debt crisis.

He’s giving the details Oct 25 — next Tuesday.

Somewhere today I thought I read there were actually three sections all together. Do you know if that is correct? If so, we know what the first one was, energy and jobs. The second seems to be entitlement reform and spending reductions. If there IS a third one, what is that one about, or perhaps I am incorrect.

Perry should not be the tax candidate. He should be the job candidate. We need another tax candidate like another war. You want a government job? You want to be a taxpayer leech?

Or do you want a REAL job, one that produces wealth instead of consuming it?

If it's the latter you had better want a tax candidate - since that is the ONLY way the federal government can help crete these jobs you want. We need to get the federal government to take its heavy foot off the brakes of the existing tax code.

Unlike other candidates - in addition to a tax plan - Perry has an energy plan that will create many jobs here in the USA.
