An evil capitalist goes to Occupy Portland looking to help people find work. Most people just pass by. One prospective worker is apparently a felon. Another gentleman declines after asking if the work is from a union...
others merely mock the capitalist, or are more concerned with publicizing their marches. Out of the hundreds of people there, most of which complain about being out of work, only about 15 signed up for work.

“WORK! Are you kidding me? I didn’t spend 20 years in college to have to work for a living!” LOL!
Have you no political consciousness? These people are busy protesting! Politics is their work.
They are the poster children for entitlements

Anarchy isn’t about creating jobs. It is a job for the rabble.
If there's still a best-comment-of-the-day competition, then you've just won it!
Oh the irony, unionship preventing gainful employment.
They asked one kid in New York why he wanted a job and he said it was so he could buy dope. Dumbass :-)
“Uh, sorry, dude. Not interested. I work for billionaire Mr. Soros.”
I’ve met a lot of “professional students” in my time. They are really something else.
And then the union will force the company out of business by demanding $50/hr salaries.
Hey dude? Have you got work for like drug addicts and like felons and sh!!? If you do I’m your guy on Tuesday’s from
10:00 to 11:15.
These are hard core professional students. That is their fulltime job. No need to work.
I hope the dude was for real, so that ONE Occupier that seemed eager to find work, really does.
What a sad commentary on these pathetic, lazy democrat occupiers.
The ‘Teat’ Party!
LOL..(I stole that from someone else..but it fits em like a glove)
They just want to bang on the drum all day.
Obama and his democrats support this message.
"I don't want to work
I want to bang on the drum all day"
Todd Rundgren - Bang on the Drum All Day:
This has been a nightmare, said Brian Summers, who lives near Zuccotti Park.
Summers said those trying to force corporations to become better corporate citizens should learn to be better citizens themselves.
It makes us feel horrible. We work down here, we live down here, said Summers.
Drums are played each and every day. The noise registers as 117 on a decibel meter.
According to the federal government, regular exposure to 110 decibels can lead to permanent hearing loss.
From blocks away, it might not be physically harmful, but neighbors say it's damaging lives.
We support the message, and a lot of residents do, but they also want to have a good night sleep, said Manhattan City Councilmember Margaret Chin.
Local officials have been swamped with neighborhood complaints.
That's why they invited protesters to hear them firsthand at a Community Board 1 meeting Thursday.
Besides the noise problem, residents say protesters are pouring urine in the streets.
Our neighbors do not urinate and defecate in the street. These occupiers need to vacate our neighborhood, said one resident.
