Ann Coulter: ‘I want Romney-Cain’
Daily Caller ^ | 10/21/2011 | Jeff Poor

Posted on 10/21/2011 3:33:01 PM PDT by SeekAndFind

To say Ann Coulter had a political crush on New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie might be putting it mildly. So when Christie announced he wasn’t running for president, and then endorsed former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, the natural thing for her to do would have been to push for a Romney-Christie ticket.

Not so fast.

On Thursday night’s “Hannity,” the author of “Demonic: How the Liberal Mob is Endangering America” elaborated on her endorsement of Romney last week, but also endorsed Cain for his signature “9-9-9” tax plan.

“I am so glad you asked about Herman Cain,” Coulter said. “I want Romney-Cain. I wouldn’t be displeased with Cain at the top of the ticket, though as I said before it’s risky running someone who hasn’t held elected office before.

“But I love the ‘9-9-9’ plan and the more people that attack it — fellow Republicans in the media — the more I love it. It’s a fantastic plan. I’m encouraging Mitt Romney to choose Herman Cain as his vice-presidential nominee.”

Ann ... Ann Coulter? Where have I heard that name?

Oh! I remember ... didn’t she used to be a conservative?

Cain-Gingrich is very intriguing.

The thing is Gingrich would have to be honorable and realize he is not the boss, President Cain is. He couldn’t just go out there jawboning and freelancing as Newt is wont to do.

He would have to discipline himself to be like Dick Cheney: express his opinions forcefully to the President, debate him up and down if he wants, but always support the President’s final decision.

Can Newt do that? Even if he tries?

Maybe.

(I don’t know about Mrs. Gingrich, though. She seems like she’d be like a moth to a candle as a Washington diva.)

Romney-Cain is a viable ticket. Plenty, of business, political and foreign policy experience. It's not a dream ticket but it's a viable ticket.

For all of you that voted for Huckabee in 2008, are you happy that a Mormon didn't get elected?

Cain and Perry don’t appear to like each other. That’s sort of a good prerequisite for the job.

Although Obama and Biden never appeared to like each other. So, it happens.

But if Cain were prez, I’d like to see him have a REAL VP, as Cheney was, who was there to hash out ideas and give his best shot as to advice.

Don’t see that happening with Perry. The men are just too different.

I, for one, am about tired of Mann Coulter.

The tenor voice....

The Adam’s apple....

The support for the Log Cabin Republicans.....

This is not an ad-hominem, just observing the facts.

I got a letter from Mitt, asking for money. Told him: SCREW U RINO!

I'm sure I got the same request for support.

I made a WORD document with four "No RINOs" symbols, seen above on post 30. I ran Mitt's donor form through my printer twice, printing my WORD document on both sides. I mailed it to him yesterday.

The blinding platinum blonde Washington Helmet!

Okay. This has nothing to do with the actual race.

But, whatever. :)

(P.S. That said, she WOULD be a real trip as First Lady, I think.)

I . . . can’t . . . stop . . .

I am not voting for Romney or any ticket that has this poseur on it. Period.

Then be prepared for hussein being reelected which means more young healthy radical America hating justices to the Supreme Court.

The most important aspect of the 2012 election is the Supreme Court. This is probably one of the most important elections in the nations history. Not because of the economy or foreign affairs but because of the Supreme Court and the likelyhood that one or more center-right justices will need to be replaced.

Anne Coulter has no idea what she is talking about. She surely has not researched Mitt or his Mormonism. She is following orders, like the rest of the media! Why do so many people have feet of clay?

I guarantee it's a lot higher than that, but people won't admit it.

They're included in the percentage that won't vote for an unprincipled flip-flopping RINO.

I want a *young* VP who can take over after 8 years. Cain doesn’t fit that bill, and besides, he has a history of colon cancer.

Don’t give us the GWB scenario again, with no groomed successor.

I like Marco Rubio or Rand Paul for VP.

P.S. Romney sucks and I won’t vote for him.
